Hello Dear Diary,
Here we are after the global outbreak. It's december of 2020. Some say it was a curse, because of abusing Earth. Others say it was because of those who were being tortured, abused and begging countries to help them end the pain, but people turned a blind eye to them. And a third party says that it was a lesson that should have been taught. A sign. An evidence that god could end the world by a simple germ. Well, whatever the reason was, I guess we didn't learn shit. Everything is going back to normal, well I guess except Earth. Earth had a great rest from humans so the ozone layer healed alot. Countries are fighting over a damn vaccine like we're in hunger games, politics is still above humanity.

A Pandemic that killed over 700,000 souls, but it ended. I lost two of my family members, but it ended. Corona won and took their lives, but it ended. It sure felt like a nightmare that made me curse myself for even thinking of sleeping. A nightmare that i kept pinching myslef every minute of it to wake up, but i never did. But guess what? It ended or that's what i keep telling myself. It took alot from me; nights i should have slept but i couldn't bring myself to it, my appetite for food or the world itself and tears, many tears.
I still have that page of a newspaper. That page that has my beloved ones' names on it being victims of the pandemic between millions of other names.

You may wonder what happened, huh? Italy had so many deaths. The country of music, flowers and colours felt so faded, but they are surviving and curing their people. They are managing like the rest of the world. Because life continues, doesn't it? and soon their colours would return.

China banned wildlife trade, and imposed very, very strict regulations about it.

And as everything else, the vaccine had been a competition, mainly between China, Europe and United States. They were speeding to find a cure— not because of the so many people dying— but because of who would rule the world. Dun Dun Dun! And the Winner Is JAPAN !!! Yup, no one actually believed that. Here we are, 14th of December, 2020 having Japan leading the world.

Well, sorry for the tragic introduction. Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. Where are my manners? I'm Chunhua. I'm 18. I have been bullied since— well a long time but that's a story for another time. I have a condition which made my life, mind you, harder during the virus outbreak, but that's again a story for another time.

I have very funny people in my school, their jokes are super original. Every day I walk through school gates, I hear " Chun , you have some viruses fallin' out of ya pockets " Ha Ha Haaaa. One day I would end dying from their sense of humor. Or when I'm pulling my lunch box, I hear " Yo , have bats soup there? Damn, you sure are a sucker for batman " Again, dying out of laughter.

Well, here i am talking to you— well actually writing — from the top of a cliff.

What would a normal person do on a top of a cliff you ask? Simple. They jump.

Heyyy !
P.s this story isn't gonna be as depressing as it seems i swear. 😂
Just had to go for the deep prologue.

Don't worry, i am a walking sarcasm so i won't be able to write a whole tragic story, a girl gotta crack some jokes.

Mai ❤
