CHAPTER 4: 5 become 7

First day of class, I received my schedule already through email, good thing though para hindi na din mahirap sa part ng students. By the way, this university is from the government itself so technically, walang tuition kaming babayaran, we just have to maintain flat 1 grades.

I'm really nervous, like really. First time kong ma expose sa different environment. Though the atmosphere in here is light and it doesn't give you the feels of loneliness and boredom.

I entered our Block room. I sat down sa pinaka dulong upuan, 4th row, malapit sa bintana. I grabbed my earphones and played Alessia Cara's song, scars to your beautiful. Wala pa namang guro at hindi pa lahat ng estudyante ang andito.

Suddenly, a guy sat beside me, he has huge eyes and mataas yung buhok niya at ang liit niya kumpara sa ibang estudyante.

"Hello!" Sabi niya naman and he presented his hand para makipag kamay, I reached for it and shook his hand.

"Hello" sabi ko naman at tinitigan siya.

"Girl, chill. I'm Ryan Adonis Son but you can call me Rhaine." Pagpapakilala niya sa kanyang sarili. Ok he's gay, that's good though, you know when I was on high school, I've got a lot of friends that were gay but not close with them that much.

"Hello, Rhaine, my name's Veronica Venice Romualdez." Sabi ko naman sa kanya ang I gave him a smile.

"BPEd ka din?" Sabi ko naman sa kanya and he smiled and replied. "Yes! Omg girl!" Sabi naman niya and I laughed from his reaction.

"Hello! I'm Ryan Adonis Son but you can call me Rhaine." Sabi niya naman sa isang babae na nasa harap niya, maiksi ang buhok nito, napaka pamilyar niya.

The girl turned her back to respond from Rhaine's introduction. Omg, si Natalia 'to. I'm much happy knowing andito siya, pero not sure kung BPEd din yung kinuha niya.

"Hello, I'm Natalia Gomez." Ngumiti si Natalia at tumingin sa gawi ko, nagulat ito at merong nakaguhit na ngiti sa kanyang mukha.

"Omg, andito ka!!" Sabi naman ni Natalia sa akin, tumayo ito at lumapit sa akin.

"Yes, I didn't know that you're here! Ano palang course mo?" I asked her with excitement being evident on my face. I stood up and received her hug

"BPEd, ako!" Sabi naman niya at nagdulot ng matinding saya sa akin.

"Omg, same." Sabay sabi namin ni Rhaine.

"So magkakilala na pala kayo nitong si Natalia?" Sabi naman sa akin ni Rhaine and I nodded as a response and gave him a smile.

"Yes, actually kahapon lang kami nagka close nitong si Veronica because of some shitty guy that I dont want to talk about." Sabi naman ni Natalia

The teacher then came inside the classroom, he just gave us some activity sheets that we should be finishing. Sketching 101, yung subject, kaya nahirapan ako, I don't really know how to do sketches, I mean hindi ko siya forte. But I guess I gotta learn this shit by now.

Dumaan yung oras at wala pa kaming subjects na naghihiwalay kami, that's a good thing though and Im much happy knowing na hindi ako nag iisa sa aking first day. Andito pala kami sa canteen, malaki yung canteen dito, mura lang din yung mga pagkain.

"You know what? Labag sina mom sa kursong kinuha ko?" Biglaang sabi ni Natalia, habang ito'y nakayuko. Im sure she's sad.

"Ha? Bakit naman? Ang ganda kaya ng kursong ito" sabi naman ni Rhaine at patuloy itong kumakain.

"You know, they do not want me to compromise on this course. I know naman that this course is good, and I couldnt just see any reason for them to belittle my passion. They wanted me to become a lawyer or a psychologist, kasi mayaman daw pakinggan." Sabi naman niya iyon, that's just sad, sucks to be in her place. Na mismo yung foundation mo kung saan ka kumukuha ng lakas ay lihis sa iyo. That's painful.
