The Fight of the Alphas

Chapter 1: The start of the beginning

As the Goddess of Werewolves looked upon the Earth watching her creations once again, she sighed, making her shoulder slump slightly whilst sitting in her throne. She sighed for two reasons; one, being the fact that she wanted to be roaming the world below with her creations. And secondly, because her creations were starting to brutally attack each other; each trying to become the Alpha to rule all Alphas. They were being friggin ridiculous. 

The Goddess' throne, made up of different shades of smooth oak had the shapes of many different wolves etched within it; creating a tapestry look on the throne. The Goddess had created this throne for herself long, long ago - nearly at the start of time itself. She had wanted it to represent her pride and joy; however now she wasn't so sure she should feel joy due to their current actions. As she slumped further in her throne in self-pity, her long, curly blonde hair fell further down her strong but short frame. Her hair caught the light, making her hair looked like it sparkled like the moon when it was full. 

"What's wrong, Luna? Why are you moping around here once again?" snarked Hades from his own throne. His throne was completely unlike the Goddess he spoke to. His was made of tough metal; which burnt the hand of anyone who touched it. He was the God of the Underworld after all - his throne needed to resemble his background. And his background was fire, and death, and most importantly; pain, and power. 

"Oh, leave her alone" said Athena, her eyes lighting up protectively for the Goddess she sat beside. They were best friends after all, so Athena was always going to stand up for Luna. However, she had noticed that her friend had become a bit distant and depressed this last decade. 

"But she's been like this for so longgggg, remember when she was fun? She was veryyyy fun" smirked Hades,  causing Luna to finally lift her hand in a motion for him to stop and growled lowly in his direction. 

"Ahh, there she is, my spunk" he grinned, liking the attention. Deep down, Hades had missed the  flirtation and attention he used to receive from Luna every time they would see each other. Hell, sometimes she would even come down to hell to see him; but lately, he hasn't seen or heard from her at all. And he was worried - but most importantly, he was lonely and hurt by her sudden disinterest in him. 

Luna did not reply to Hades; simply going back to her own thoughts and staring at the creatures below her on Earth. Hades sighed, giving up for the time being and went back to looking slightly bored upon his throne. He'd get her attention soon, after the meeting. 

It wasn't just those three Gods in the room; all the Gods sat waiting on their thrones. What they were waiting for; they were unsure. All they knew is that they had been summoned here by their leader. And when they are summoned; they must come. 

And then he walked in. Zeus strode through the corridor into the brightly lit, spacious room where all the thrones were placed in a semi circle. He smirked to anyone who would meet his sight as he walked, knowing that he looked like he owed the place; and that was because he did. 

He finally reached his throne which lay at the head of the semi circle of thrones; with his two brother's thrones being by his sides. When he got there, he sat peacefully upon his large throne -  which looked like it was made up of large, white clouds. No one could ever find out what it was made of; Zeus would never provide any details about his infamous throne. 

He looked at his subjects before him with pride. Mostly pride for himself, as he was the official leader; but pride nonetheless. 

"Thank you for coming here on such short notice, everyone", Zeus boomed, making sure he was able to see and be heard by everyone. "I have brought us here so we can deal with a very serious issue. The issue of the wolves."
