I heard him, his footsteps sounded so heavy as he slowly made his way up the stairs fear coursing through me as he got closer and closer, scared of what little game he was planning on playing today. I layed there hidden under my bed wondering how long till this would be over. Each step felt like an hour and my heart continued to speed up. As I saw my door handle slowly begin to turn i moved further under my bed as my breathe hitched. I knew things would be better if my mum was still around but at least she cant be hurt anymore, she's safe.
flashback (izuku 5 years old)
"Ok bye Kachan see you tommorow. "I yelled as I ran from the house and walked to the house next door my home. I opened the door and walked into the kitchen looking for my mum. As I stepped in the kitchen I was shocked, scared and didnt know how to react. My mum in a pool of blood with my father standing over her with a knife laughing like a maniac. I looked at him and ran out the door before I could get far I felt a tug on my shirt I turned around to see my father had got me and was taking me back to the house.
flasbhback over
"Izukuu."I heard father say "I know you in here somewhere I stay as quiet as possible. Eventually I heard my door close so I came from under my bed I looked up to see my father standing there.
"Found you."
I jumped back in fear as he walked forward with a sickly grin I slowly began to back up against the wall untill eventually I couldnt get any further back. I stood there instintly lowering my head he grabbed my chin and pulled it up so i was looking at him directly in the eyes.
He then quickly grabbed me by the wrists and dragged me down the stairs and threw me on the kitchen floor.
"What the fuck is this." I looked up too see the dishes I forgot to do last night but didnt say anything. He walked over and grabbed a plate then ditched it at me which narrowly missed. You little shit. He shouted and came up to me grabbing my hair and slapping me across the face. "Get you dirty little ass up stairs and get ready for school I dont want to see your ugly ass face."
"Yes sir" I replied as I bolted up the stairs to get ready for school.
As I went to leave the house father grabbed me by the back of the shirt glaring at me
"If you tell anyone and I mean anyone I will do more then hurt you understand. I nodded my head quickly. "
WHAT WAS THAT I COULDNT HEAR YOU!"
"Yes father."
"Good now get out." I ran out the door and started making my way to school.
