"What did I tell you about leaving the dog outside?!"
"Sorry mom!" I yelled from the rickety old stairs that led to my room, "Coming!" I carefully made my way down the dark brown stairs, sure to skip the third step, for that one might break. The floor downstairs creaks in the same spot every time, just as you get off the stairs, a loud creaking sound terrifies Lucas, our cat. The small brown mouse that lives in the cabinet scampered across the floor followed by our "small tiger," a cat with a bright orange coat and black stripes running down it's back. "Luc!" I yelled in surprise, that wasn't his name, but it's short for Lucas. He continued chasing the mouse, sometimes I wonder if he can understand me, and he just doesn't listen. Then I continued looking for the 'Golden Dog', Sasha. Sasha had a bright yellow jacket of fur around her. It was almost as If you stayed with her too long, you would get sunburn!
I ran out the door and down the sidewalk, unfortunately, Sasha already made it down 2 or three blocks, the only way I could see her was because of her bright yellow coat, "Sasha!" I yelled after running for a while. The yellow tail of my golden retriever zoomed around the corner. I ran out past the shop where the old man sold bottles of milk and toilet paper. Just as I rounded the corner to see the beautiful shop of Miss. Cath, with her sapphire blue walls and mauve carnations, Sasha jumped out at me and knocked me to the ground. What happened from there is what always happens, but let's just say I came back with a muddy dog and covered in slobber.
