*Morning

Alarm is beeping

Maria-ughhhh time to wake up and go to school again

Maria's P.O.V

I get up and take a shower and brush my teeth and get dressed I put on some black leggings with a pink crop top and some combat boots. I got my book bag and went down stairs.

Maria's mom- Good morning sweetie

Maria- morning mom

Maria's Mom- here are so pancakes

Maria- thanks mom

Maria's mom- So are you ready to go to the concert?

Maria- yeah me and Melanie are going to get ready here after school

Maria's mom- OK don't be out too late

Maria- ok ...well I have to go to school bye mom

Maria's mom- alright bye sweetie be safe

I walk to school for about 10 minutes. I got to school and headed to my locker and see my best friend Melanie

Melanie- Hey!!!

Maria- Hey

Melanie- Omg I can't wait for tonight ahhhhhh!!!!!

Maria- me nether...So you have your outfit ready right?

Melanie- yeah I had it ready ever since we got tickets ...I have been smiling ever since I woke up

*bell rings*

Maria- well I better get to class see you later

Melanie- OK bye

I walk to my class and class starts. I get a text and check without letting the teacher see. It is from Melanie saying that her mom canceled on us . Great now how are we suppose to go to the concert? I text back Melanie asking how were we getting to the concert. I look up and see the teacher standing next to me with her arms crossed.

Teacher- ms.Maria why are you texting in my class?

Maria-......

Teacher- I will be seeing you after school today

Maria- what !??! You can't..*gets cut off*

Teacher -excuse me but  you are no one to tell me what I can and can not do

*bell rings*

Ughhhh why...why today why did I have to get detention today why could it not have been another day . I walk to my locker and put my books in and got ready for my next class. I see Melanie coming with a bunch of stuff in her hands

Maria- what is all of this ???

Melanie- art supplies I borrowed from the drama department

Maria-what for ?

Melanie- to make signs for the concert..and I need them for something else

Maria- what are you up to?

Melanie-  *puts the supplies in her locker trying to avoid my question*

Maria- what are you up to??? Melanie I know you are up to something we have been friends since first grade

Melanie- I'm not up to nothing relax i 'm not going to get in trouble today

I was about to say something but the bell rang and she left running. Ughh please don't get in trouble Melanie . I went to all my classes and school is over . I walk down the hall way heading to the exit door when I see Melanie stuffing her book bag with art supplies .
