I tossed and turned all night I couldn't sleep an ounce, the nightmares from that night, I thought as I stood on the roof, looking out at the city,
Is it even a good idea for me to be here? I thought
I mean Fury did have me locked up for a reason right?
It's not like he didn't care he had people teach me basic skills educate me so I was smart, I thought
Who are you kidding Nova, stop making excuses for him,
I hear someone clear their throat,
I look next to me to see Loki,
"Are you alright?" He asked
looking down at me because lets be honest he is quite tall,
"Of course," I said smiling at him,
"Well then Dr Banner would like to see you something about a check up," Loki said
I gulped, that means needles, I have a fear of needles,
"No thanks," I said too quickly
He arched his brow,
"I mean I'm fine," I said
"I don't think you have a choice in the matter," Loki said chuckling
"Oh yeah, and what are you going to do about it tough guy," I said
I immediately regretted giving Loki lip, because next thing I know I'm thrown over his shoulder and he started walking with me slung over his shoulder,
"Hey! I'm not a bag of luggage!" I said as I pounded my fists on his back that seemed to have no impact on him,
"I'd say you are lighter than a feather," He said amused
"Loki! Seriously put me down!" I said
"Hmm, I don't think I will," He said I can hear the smirk on his face,
I gave up fighting my elbow on his shoulder my chin in the palm of my hand, we passed some of the avengers,
"Hey, how you doing," I said casually
we finally got to the room he set me down,
I glared up at him, and crossed my arms,
"Don't ever do that again," I said
"Perhaps next time you will listen to me," He said as he chuckled
I just rolled my eyes,
as we were in a stand off Bruce walked in,
"Ah Nova I see Loki brought you to me like I asked," He said
"If that's what you call it," I mumbled
both men chuckled,
"Please sit," Bruce said
I nodded sitting on the bed,
He attached a bunch of stickies to my chest and face,
the monitor next to me recorded my heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature, the machine kept beeping meaning it was getting higher, I know what was getting higher, my temperature,
"You're temperature, is...." Bruce said
"500 Degrees, yes that is normal for Nova," Fury said walking in
"What do you want pirate man?" Loki said not sounding happy
"You are going to let me take Nova back to Shield," Fury said
