Vol 1: Manipulation (Danganronpa Despair Arc x Reader)

Chapter 1: A Good Day

Today is the day that you start a new life, in a new school.

You've spent your entire life living on the streets, yet finally you have been selected to join the 77th class of Hopes Peak Academy. Of course half a year has passed since you've been selected, but you were so caught up in the despair of things, you needed a break.

Living on the streets haven't been too hard on you though. Being the Super High School Level Manipulator, you could pretty much make anyone do anything for you, including providing the daily essentials.

Enough with this stupid backstory, let's get on with the task on hand.

You put on your school uniform, do the daily essentials and rush to the school building.

Of course, you may have forgotten to mention, but you didn't always live on the streets. You had a loving family that abused you and left you on the side of the road, resulting in aphonia (aphonia = the inability to speak).

The way you communicate now is through a little notepad you carry around.

"Oof!" someone says while knocking you over.

"Are you okay?" the same person queries.

You look the guy up and down. He looks like an average high schooler. He has a black suit on, short spiky brown hair, tan skin and golden eyes.

'Yes,' you write down.

"Are you mute?" he asks.

'Yes. Now I have questions of my own. Who are you? And what school do you go to?'

"My name is Hinata Hajime, and I go to the Reserve Course of Hopes Peak Academy. Now who are you, and what school do you go to?"

'My name is (L/N) (Y/N), Super High School Level Manipulator, and I go to Hopes Peak Academy.'

"You're a manipulator? That's actually pretty useful. Now we better hurry or else we'll be late. Carry on this conversation later?"

You nod your head yes while running with Hinata. There is just something about him that intrigues you.

Time Skip

1-B is my class, right?

You take a look at your student guide, and it says that 1-B is your class. You take a step forward and slide the door open to see six students in there.

'Is this the right class?' you show the notepad to the six students.

"Are you (L/N)?" a girl with long blond hair, fair skin and blue eyes asks while getting up from her seat.

'Yes'

"Then this is the right class!"

'Is this all the students?'

"No! Here at Hopes Peak we're allowed to skip lectures so long as we do what our Super High School Level assigns us with!"

'Who are you?'

"My name is Nevermind Sonia, Super High School Level Princess."

After that you decide to take your leave seeing that there wasn't a teacher.

You made your way outside and towards a fountain where you saw Hinata.

'You have no class too?' you query.

"I do have class, but I find it much easier to just not go."

'Me too.'

"Is it all right if we just not talk? I like the silence and company you bring."
