The son of Apollo entered the room with a small bundle in his arms, a child. He handed the new born to the son of Poseidon.

"She's a girl." He whispered quietly.

"How is Annabeth?" Percy took his daughter, lovingly smiling at her.

Will hesitated. "I'm sorry Percy we did everything we could. She's gone."

Percy looked up at him. He saw tear stains down the son of apollo's cheeks and red puffy eyes. Percy didn't know what to think. He remembered the last thing Annabeth had said to him.

"Protect her Percy, never leave her. I love you both."

That was when someone had pushed him out of the room and locked him out.

She's gone.

Gone.

The words replayed in his mind.

He realized he had been staring had the medic. He looked down at his daughter.

"Percy clam down!"

He hadn't noticed but the earth below them was shaking. An earthquake.

She's gone.

Those words again.

Gone.... forever.

His wise girl.

Gone.

The earth stopped shaking.

The son of Poseidon no longer stood in the room.

"Oh shit!" Will cursed. "He going to do something stupid."
