Chapter 10: Sleepover (Part 1)

Start from the beginning

"So, Punisher?" she asks and picks up the Xbox controller to go to Netflix.

"Yup," I say and throw myself down on the blankets and pillows.

After a few minutes of silence I get bored, "I'm gonna go make some popcorn." I get up and walk back upstairs.

"Extra buttery!" Ashley yells after me.

I chuckle. You'd think after 5 years I wouldn't forget something like that.

I walk to the pantry and grab 8 bags of extra buttery popcorn. I place one in the microwave and start looking for a bowl big enough to hold all of it in.

After about 25 minutes they're all popped and I pour them in the bowl.

Knock. Knock.

I throw the empty popcorn bags in the trash and walk to the front door.

I look out the peephole and then open the door, "If it isn't my favorite twins in the world." I smile.

"Hey," they say in unison.

I chuckle.

"What?" they say.

"You guys are so cute when you do that," I giggle.

"Do what?" they ask.

"Talk at the same time," I reach up, they're at least 5-6 inches taller then me, and pinch one of their cheeks.

Randy laughs and Zack looks at his feet and blushes.

I chuckle, "Well, don't just stand there. I need a man's help."

Randy puffs out his chest and Zack flexes his muscles.

"Well, I guess 2 boys can do," I say with a smirk.

"Ouch!" they say and place their hands over their hearts.

I laugh, "Come on. I need you guys to carry something downstairs."

I lead them into the kitchen and point at the popcorn bowl.

Their eyes go wide, "That's a lot of popcorn."

"Hey, well I need you guys to take it downstairs."

They look at the blankets and pillows occupying their arms.

I tap my foot impatiently, "Give my those and you guys handle the popcorn." I grab the pillows and blankets from them, "Follow me."

They each take hold of one side of the bowl and carry it downstairs behind me.

"Guess who's here?!" I yell once we're downstairs.

"Damn, woman! You don't have to yell!" Ashley shouts with her hands over her ears.

The twins wince. "Stop yelling," Randy says.

I chuckle, "But I wanted to."

I walk over to the pile and drop the extra pillows and blankets on top of it.

"That's a hug pile of pillows and blankets," says Zack standing next to it. The pile reaches his mid calf.

"Years of collecting," Ask says proudly, linking her arm with mine.

The twins laugh and we all share a look, like a silent conversation. Then as if on que we all yell, "Fort!"

We all start grabbing random pillows and blankets and start making a fort. After a while of laughing and pushing and pillow fights, we finally finish it. We collapse in the middle of the fort. My head falls onto Zack's stomach and Ashley's lands on Randy's legs.

We all stare up at the fort and sigh in fascination.

"I think this is the best fort I've ever made," I say.

They all nod in agreement.

We start talking about random stuff and eating popcorn when an invisible lightbulb comes on over my head.

"Truth or Dare!" I shoot up and shout, causing them to glare at me.

Zack gives me a mischievous smile and I laugh.

Randy smirks and cracks his knuckles, "I can do this!"

Ash laughs.

He looks over at Zack, "Truth or Dar-"

I cut him off when another idea pops up in my head, "If you guys disagree with a truth or dare, boys have to get one product of makeup on their face for every disagree. And girls have to embarrass themselves by sharing an embarrassing moment."

They all agree and I smile, "You can continue."

"Truth or Dare, my twin," he says to Zack.

Zack thinks for a minute, "Dare."

Randy gets up and walks back and forth with his hands clasped together, "I dare you to go to Sky's mom and pretend to pass out."

Zack shrugs and gets up before walking upstairs.

After a few minutes we hear, "Skylar, call 911!"

Randy, Ash, and I burst out laughing.

"I need more popcorn," I say looking at the empty bowl before I grab it and walk upstairs.

"Skylar, call 911!" she says on the floor bent over Zack.

I walk over to them and hold out my hands, "He's fine, mom."

Zack bursts out laughing.

My mother places a hand over her heart and breaths heavily, "Teenagers these days."

I laugh and help them both up.

"I'm leaving before you guys can do anything that could hurt my health," she grabs her purse and jacket, then runs out to the car.

I stick my tongue out at her, "Well then." I turn to Zack, "Want to help me make some more popcorn?"

He nods, "Sure."

After we're done we walk back downstairs.

"So, Truth or Dare, Sky?" Zack asks once we get back to our seats.

"Truth," I say after a few seconds.

"Who's your crush?" he winks.

I stand up and start thinking of an embarrassing moment. I can't tell him that it's him, "Let's watch the movie now."

They laugh.

Well, there you go. It's probably not that good and I apologize for that. Tell me what you think. I love you guys! xoxo
