Only Time Will Tell

Chapter 1

*At the airport*
"Grace are you SURE you got everything? Maybe you should wait for this and stay in Washington for a while with me and your farther." My mom said.
"No mom im fine. I have to do this its time I go out on my own. I promise to call twice a week" I said as a grab my last bag out the car.
"What only twice a week! Darling you know that im going to miss you a lot. Make it three" my mom said while grabbing my hand stoping me from turning to leave.
"Ok mom I promise but I have to go before I miss my flight" I chuckled.
"Ok but give me a kiss first" she said.
"Omg this is like the 20th kiss you've gave me this morning" I said while laughing and trying to escape the kiss.
"I know but this is the last one" she said and she kissed my cheak.
"Ok bye mom gotta go love you. Tell daddy love'em tons" I said while runing toward the door.
"Finally free, one more kiss i thought ill miss my chance to be on my own" I said to my self. Ever since I was a kid I've alway been mommy and daddy little girl. They would never let me got out a lot and be with my friends. Its always been family and education amd nothing more. Now im 19 and my bestfriend Miya invited me to live with her in Seattle for a at least 6 mouths or so. This is going to be amazing.
"Flight 17 boarding to tale flight" Thats me! God is this really happening am i really doing this. I finnally board the plane and i take my seat. While settling I look out the window and at the sun thinking to myself what Seattles like.
"Escuse me do you mind if i sit here" a yound asian girl around my age say to me.
"Of course not, go ahead" i say gesturing her to the seat.
"Thank you seats were feeling up fast" she said with a chuckle.
"No problem" i laugh.
"My name Nikto by the way" she said while her hand out to shake mines.
"Nice to meet you im Grace" i said while shaking her hand.
"So why your headed to Seattle?" She said.
"My friend invited me to stay with her for a couple of mouths. What about you" i said.
"Forced to move with my aunt against my will. My mother said its good for the family company if i learn some pointers from her on how to manage" she said while laying her head back lazily.
"Bossy family issue. Same" i said.
"But gotta love'em" she giggle.
During the flight we both talked and got close with telling each other about our background.
"Alright laddies and gentlemen please relax as we presume to land" one of the pilots say onto the entercome.
As my and Nikto make our way off the pane "I guess this is where we part ways" nikto say while hugging me.
"Yeah i guess it is but it was nice getting to know you" i say while hugging her back.
"But it doesnt mean it'll be our last time meeting" she said while guestring me her phone.
"Great idea" i said while taking her phone and giving her mine.
"Now we can text and make plans to hang out. You could even bring your friend so we can meet" she said while handing me back my phone.
"Yeah that would be great" i say as i return her phone.
"NIKTO" a women yell from a distance with excitement next to a shofier with a sigh with Nikto name on it.
"Welp thats me. Bye Bye" she say as she grabs her bag and heads off.
"Bye" i say as i look around and spot Miya.
"Heyyyyyy i can't believe its youuuu" Myia say as she run up to me and give me a big hug.
"I know right its been a while since college" i say as she release me.
"Ok no time to spare i have to show you around. Come on" she says as she grab and pull my hand to go.
"Wait my bags" i say trying to stop her.
"Oh right silly me" she says as she releases my hand.
Lol.
"Oh while you show me around can you recommend me a job" i say while grabing my bags.
"Sure, got anything in my of what kind of job you want" she said while grabbing the rest of my bags.
"Yeah, something bussiness related" i said.
"I think i got a couple in mind" Miya said.
