Hadrian James Potter was in a situation. One that could lead to his death.
So he wrote his will.
Well not really, but something...close? Taking light of the prospect of his certain doom. His skin was sweaty and pale, a hand shaking as he looked at the paper. He sighed when his vision went blurry even with his glasses on.
He finished his writing quickly. Whispering a spell to unlock hedwig from her cage, it was his little secret he could do wandless magic. It helped a lot. Plus the ministry couldn't register it even if he was under the age.
He turned to his Snowy owl, Hedwig- perched on the desk watching his with avid yellow eyes. Barely any noise leaving her. "Hey, are you ready for a flight?" He spoke softly as he petted her fluffed feathers. She cooed softly as she showed her concern for him, she could see he wasn't doing so well-she had seen it happen too.
He only smiled at her, knowing her as well as she did him. "I'm alright. Can you send a letter to Draco? Oh and his present?" He asked as he held the letter up before he searched under his pillow nearby to pull out a little parcel that fit in his hand, wrapped in brown paper and tied with string. His name scrawled nearly carelessly on the package.
Hedwig huffed before she nipped at his hair softly. Before taking the letter into her beak and grabbing the parcel, ready to take flight.
Harry smiled at his owl, before opening the window, letting her go off into the darkened grey clouds.
He watched as she flapped her wings into the night sky. The clouds soon blocked her from his sight which made him sigh. He frowned as his thoughts wondered before he winced when a spike of pain flashed through his middle. He groaned as quietly as he could. It felt like his magic was shoving sharp needles to every bit of his nerves. He could barely hold himself up as he decided to go back to his thin and horrible bed. Instantaneously he fell into a slumber.
The laugh of his uncle startled him awake, it was loud but it was downstairs, it still scared him enough to make his heart race in his chest though. He didn't remember falling asleep but he could see daylight breaking over the horizon, he knew his aunt had most likely cooked as he was still locked in his room. Eyes finding the cat flap to see it empty, as per usual.
He groaned again as he tried to sit up but he couldn't, his limbs heavy and weak. He wanted to cry but he knew if he did Vernon would beat him for making a fuss over 'nothing'. Like being beat while sick was making a fuss over nothing. He huffed before he decided to just lay still and wait for the inevitable fate of his.
Honestly it sounded better than staying in this 'Home' of his.

Draco gritted his teeth together as he sat at the dining table. He couldn't wait to get back to his room and suffer in silence.
To think of how he was going to avoid Harry for the school year to come. It was basically betrayal to the boy, he was now a Death eater in a sense, he had the dark Mark at least. Ordered by his father to get it or he be disowned, and as much as he would be okay with that now, annoyingly so thanks to Harry's influences-he wanted to be able to still see his mother who didn't agree with his father at all. He wanted to make sure she'd be okay.
That and he would have been killed if had refused, whether he had done so in front of the slit nosed dark lord or not.
He felt restless, as he eyed his father. He had gained his inheritance, and unlike his parents, he was a shifter. One that was rare in his family, further more, rarest in the world.
His parents being Veela and half vampire were confused by this. He should have been part Veela and part vampire. But he wasn't, instead he was a nearly 6 foot, nine tailed fox. Silver furred like his natural hair. They werent sure what to do, and or how to go about looking into it further. To find where it came from in their family bloodline.
