I quickly put my phone in my back pocket before walking out my house and locking the door behind me.

As I walked down the side walk a bit I met up with Spencer. He was gonna walk me to school since his classes start later today. "Spencer are you really thinking about this" I asked confused and shocked "Yea and ima tell him this right after my practice" Spencer said with some anger in his voice "Spencer, you don't know how that could effect things. If you go tell your dad that you will play with him and have a bond with him but only if Darnell leaves; you don't know how that could effect your dad or even Darnell" I said trying to get Spencer to think reasonably "Vic, it's not like I'm forcing him to do it ima just give him the choice" Spencer said as we got to South Crenshaw "Just please think about it before you do it" I said concerned Spencer nodded his head and smiled before giving me a hug and a kiss on top of my head before letting go and walking back to his house. I walked in to the school smiling at some people I knew before quickly finding Coop and Patience. "Hey guys" I said smiling lightly "Wassup girl" Coop said smiling back at me "Hey girly" Patience said nudging me slightly The first bell rang which meant that we should probably go to class. We all walked down the hallway talking amongst ourselves before we got to Patience and Coop's 1st period. "Alright I'll see y'all later" I said smiling before walking away
*skip to 3rd period*
I walked into 3rd period and sat in my regular seat before getting my notebook out and writing down our assignment per usual. "Hi you must be the new student, Darnell Hayes, correct?" I heard the teacher asked I looked up to see the guy I met at the park also known as the guy that Spencer's dad brought down from Nevada. "Yes ma'am" Darnell said back respectfully Damn cute and respectful. "Well Welcome to South Crenshaw and you cane sit by...... Victoria" The teacher said as I quickly looked back up catching Her and Darnell's eyes. Darnell nodded his head before walking towards me and sat down beside me as I finished writing down the assignment and the tardy bell rang. "I would introduce myself but we've already met soo" Darnell said putting his notebook and pencil on the table as he laughed a bit "Yea we have; I'm sorry if I came out annoying the other day. Cam can just be aggravating sometimes" I said slightly smiling which he returned with a bigger smile "You weren't annoying at all actually" he said still smiling "Good to know" I said smiling a little bit more "By the way are you dating Spencer James? Sorry if I seem nosy I just saw you walking with him our front this morning" he said as he wrote down the assignment "God no; Spencer has been one of my bestfriends my whole life" I said laughing a bit "Oh okay good to know" he said smiling again
*skip to the end of the class*
"Umm I know we haven't known each other that long but I was wondering if I could maybe have your number" Darnell asked as we were getting up to leave "Yea sure" I said smiling while handing him my phone "I texted my number so that it was easier" he said as he handed my phone back and we started walking down the hallway All of a sudden I heard a bunch of people yelling 'you just got coop'ed' "Hey I'll talk to you later Yea"I asked before walking towards the sound "Yea" He said smiling at me before walking over to some of his football friends.
