The fallen
There are so many people we remember through out history but there are so many who are forgotten as well. Why is it that the single soldier that dies alone on the battle field is forgotten but the ones who die surrounded by people are remembered. Is their sacrifice any lesser then the ones who are remembered? Do their families not suffer as much? The lone solider is just as important as the one who dies surrounded. So why is it that we forget the ones who die alone? Is it because they die alone? If they die alone should we not remember them even more? If anything their families suffer even more because they may never recover the body. So why do we let them become dust in the wind? The men and women who die protecting our country should be remembered not only as a group of people but also as indivdules with families and friends who will never see them again. So take some time this holiday season to remember all those who have fallen and have been forgotten and their families and friends who will be missing someone at their family gatherings and their cealerbrations.
