~.: Jason's POV :.~
Chuckling softly in amusement, I smirked at Octavia as she blushes profusely under my gaze while pulling away slightly to hide her face behind the curtain of her violet-tinged hair. I raised an eyebrow at her, raising one of my hands out and pushing her hair out of her eyes before leaning confidently forward so that our noses are nearly touching.
"So...you think I'm cute?" I murmured, my voice low and husky as she blushes even harder at being so close to me, "Or was that just a random compliment?~" I chuckled, leaning away from her since she's starting to tremble again, "I wouldn't exactly call myself cute, though. Roguishly handsome is probably a better-" One of her hands flashes out and I yelp in surprise as it hits my arm in defense.
"Sh-shut up," she giggles softly, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her right ear as she shyly meets my gaze and I smirked softly at her, "If you're so in love with yourself maybe I shouldn't have followed you out here," she pouts playfully and I chuckle in amusement again in response before leaning back leisurely to look up at the moon that's bathing the field with its delicate silver light.
"I'm actually glad you did come out here with me," I suddenly find myself murmuring as I glance at her once more. My heart jumps a bit as Octavia looks curiously at me again, her purple gaze shimmering beautifully in the moonlight and I nearly choke before shaking it off. Play it cool, Todd- don't let her know she's got you wrapped around her finger now.
"Really?" Octavia murmurs in such a soft and small voice that I almost didn't hear her and I nodded earnestly with another cocky smirk, "Even though I just showed you my powers, you're still happy I'm here with you...?" She whispers, tugging at the grass between us.
"I think your powers are cool," I murmured, reaching over and taking her left hand in mine, "How did you get them..? Were you born with 'em or did they just kinda... pop up?" I inquired curiously, raising an eyebrow at her as she shyly shifts so that she's pressed lightly against my side and I smirk gently, wrapping my arm around her as she heaves a soft sigh.
"It's.. it's a long story," she murmurs quietly, glancing up at the stars warily before meeting my gaze once more, "Are...are you sure you want to know..? It's getting really late..." she shyly inquires, her hair falling back into her eyes and I chuckled softly, using my free hand to tuck it back once more and then tilt her head back up so that our gazes meet.
"Dollface," I murmured softly, using my thumb to rub a gently circle into her jawline, "I've got all night. And I wanna know more about you..."
~.: Dick's POV :.~
After our shower, I led Acacia carefully back to my room and grabbed one of my hoodies before helping slip it over her head and affectionately kissing her lips, "We should do that more often," I chuckled softly, smirking at her as she giggles and snuggles her face into the neckline of my hoodie.
"Just say the word and I'm up for anything, Dickie Bear~" she purred, smacking my butt as I turn toward my dresser to pull out a change of clothes and I yelp in surprise as her hand makes contact with my ass before a casting mischievous grin over my shoulder at her in response.
"You're such a bad girl," I cackled softly, slipping my green hoodie over my head before grabbing one of my sweatpants and hurriedly yanking them on as well, "What am I gonna do with you?" I murmured, watching her as she blushes and lays out seductively on my mattress.
"Everything you've ever wanted~" she murmurs in reply, motioning to me with a come here gesture as I smirked amusedly at her while approaching the bedside, "Now c'mere so I can feel a little more of that aster~" she giggles, grabbing my hand as I'm sliding under the blankets with her and with a cackle, I find myself on top of her, our gazes meeting before I lovingly pressed my lips to hers while my hands tenderly rub circles into her sides. She moans pleasurably against my mouth as my tongue slides past her lips and teeth to fight against hers for dominance and I cackle softly into the kiss. It doesn't take long and with a satisfied smirk, I nip suggestively at her bottom lip while I slide one of my hands underneath my hoodie that she's wearing.
"I love you," I murmured against her lips, glancing upwards at her face as she smiles lovingly at me in response while my freehand reaches up to stroke her cheek tenderly.
"I love you most~" she whispers softly, pulling me forward as she teasingly tugs at the back of my hair which causes a groan to escape my throat, surprising me as I bury my face in her shoulder while she raises her legs and wraps them around my waist, "Can we go for round two, babe?~ I'm still in a mood and you just taste so good~" she purrs against my ear and my face burns as I teasingly run my left hand under her bra and squeeze her right breast gently in reply to which she lets out a small satisfied moan. I chuckled softly in the back of my throat at how cute she sounded before biting down on her collarbone and leaving a hickey on her skin.
"You're seriously so adorable," I murmured, closing my eyes as I run my tongue carefully over the wound when she groans in pleasure.
~.: De's POV :.~
I sighed in exasperation as I slipped a hand into one of Lexie's, dragging her alongside me as a group of football players pulls up in an all too familiar sports car, "Lets discuss this on the way, okay, Lex? I want to get away from this party as soon as possible without being noticed," I mumbled, using my free hand to move my hair into my face so nobody will approach us. Lexie opens her mouth to say something in response but before she can, a familiar voice calls out to us as we make our way hurriedly down the driveway towards the opposite side of the street after checking for traffic. My heart jumps into my throat as I catch sight of Seth getting out of the sports car and I quickly tug meaningfully at Lexie's hand, indicating that we need to hurry up.
"Ay, baby! Where ya goin?" Seth laughs as he starts toward us while a baseball player flings an arm around his shoulders in a companionable fashion, "Come back and party, baby cakes, I miss ya!"
I instinctively pull Lexie closer to my side as I hurry us in the direction that will lead us back to hers and Ryan's house, completely ignoring Seth's calls as Lexie glances anxiously over her shoulder.
"Isn't that your ex?" She inquired tentatively as soon as we are finally out of Seth's line of eyesight, "What did he do to you?" She gently asks me and I shake my head in irritation.
"I... I don't want to talk about it, okay?" I murmured softly, keeping my gaze focused on the sidewalk that still stretches ahead of us as we walked side by side, "Let's just say that I couldn't handle him anymore..." I sighed quietly, tucking a strand of my hair behind one of my ears as a streetlight flickers on, sensing our movement. Lexie frowns softly in concern at my sudden change of mood but she doesn't say anything else and for several minutes we walk like that in silence before I turn to her worriedly.
"I don't know how you're gonna explain why you stink of alcohol, Lexie..." I huffed, scrunching up my nose in distaste, "I would've taken us back to Aria's but it's too far away and it's already late right now. I hope your mom's not awake..." I murmured under my breath, Ryan's yard coming into view as we slowed our pace.
"Mom went to bed early," She replies in a small voice, using her right hand to anxiously tug at her still very damp shirt, "I.. I double checked before I snuck out with Jesse..." She whispers, glancing at her sneakers so she doesn't meet my disapproving gaze. I can't believe you're acting like this.
"This boy Jesse sounds like nothing but trouble," I growled under my breath as I rubbed the back of my neck, "Promise me this won't happen again, okay?" I murmured softly, pausing as we stop beside her mailbox, "Tonight I was on my way here anyway, but I can't guarantee that I'll always be around to save you. Neither will Ryan, no matter how much he swears he will. You need to be more cautious, okay?" I sighed, pushing her hair carefully out of her face and she nods silently, trembling a little bit at my touch and I frown gently before pulling her into a tight hug, "Your Ryan's baby sister and he and I care a lot about you... We don't want to ever lose you, okay?" I tearfully whimpered into her hair and she nods in response again, swallowing thickly.
"I know. I'll be more careful, I promise..." she murmurs shakily and I pull away to smile gently at her before leading her up to the front door which promptly flies open and I blink against the brightness of the porch light shining overhead.
"Lexie, where have you been?" Ryan's mom demands furiously, indignantly putting her hands on her hips as she scowls disapprovingly at the both of us, "Do you have any idea what time it is? And why are you dripping we... Is that alcohol on your clothes? Get inside right this minute before I wake up your father!" She irritably runs her hands through her hair as she leans against the doorframe so that Lexie can skirt carefully into the house and I move to follow her but she puts her arm out to block my entrance as Ryan comes up behind her, "Go home, Deanne. I can't believe you took my daughter out drinking! I thought you were better than that!" She growls softly, eyes sharp and stern with disapproval.
"Y-yes, ma'am..." I shakily reply, turning to leave obediently as the door slams shut. Upon the door slamming shut behind me, loud yelling ensues and I wince slightly in anxiety. My tongue dries in my mouth as I make my way back the way I'd come and I quickly pull my phone out of my pocket before unlocking it and opening my contacts.
Maybe I can get Aria to send a friend to take me back to the Manor, I sighed quietly, standing at the mailbox to wait for a ride.
