Love is not about revenge. Love has never been about revenge. Just because your significant other did several terrible things, doesn't mean you have the excuse to do the same thing.
Love doesn't work that way.
Love is about patience and knowing what to do when the time is not being kind to you. Its about having the will to wait, and have the trust that your significant other will see the clear line. But it doesn't mean you have to torture yourself. Love is knowing when to stop. Knowing when you have to go the other way around.
Because love is not always something you give to other people. Love is also something you give to yourself.
