"Martina! It's time for dinner."
Martina closed her notebook and headed downstairs. She headed to the dining table and started eating her food.
"So are you ready to high school tomorrow, mija?" Martina's mom asked sitting at the table.
"I guess....I heard it's suppose to be fun." Martina answered.
"Yes, high school are the best years of your life. So enjoy it." her father added.
"Yeah, soon you'll be an adult. You'll have to get a house, pay your own bills and find a job. Maybe get a boyfriend." her mother asserted.
"Mar! Being an adult? She too antisocial." Her younger sister, Angelina .
"Mar! Having a boyfriend? Never in my wildest dream." Her other younger sister, Angelea.
She hated how her younger siblings would practically copy what each other says because they're twins. People say it's cute but it's irritating for her. Especially when her parents would encourage it.
"You know you don't always have copy each others sentences" Martina grumbled.
"Oh, but it's so cute! Isn't it honey?" Their mother claimed.
"Oh.....yes very cute." The father said paying no attention to the conversation.
Martina simply groaned and put her dish in the sink. Her sisters looked at each other and followed her.
"Mar Mar, please don't be anger with us we were only just playing." Angelea apogized.
"Yes Mar Mar, we were just playing." Angelica added.
"It's fine. I'm just stressed" Martina explained. "You know....I start high school tommorow and apparently it's suppose to be a dramaful place."
"Don't worry Mar. You'll be ok." Angelina reassured.
"Yes Mar, you'll do great. Now can you wash out dishes." Angelea asked putting her dish in the sink.
Martina sighed and started in the dishes. Her mother came over and put her dishes in the sink.
"Come on it's not as bad as you think. Now go get some sleep. I'll finish the dishes." her mother said.
Martina heads upstairs to her room and changed into her pajamas and put her book away. She laid in her bed and started think to herself.
"Hmm....maybe they're right. I mean how bad could it be?"
