Noah's Pov....

Noah Johnson Basic name right ???? Well that's me. I'm 18 I'm from San Francisco California. I guess you could Say my life had a lot of ups and downs, no pun intended l. I just graduated high school last month. This is my last day in San Fran..... In less than 24 hours I'll be on my way to Cambridge University in the Uk. I'm going to be doing a double major in English and music.

I know you're asking why go over 5000 miles just to do English and music when I could literally just find somewhere here in the US. Well like every other kid in this world I have a secret.. I'm gay.

I could never tell my parents that they would hate me, burn me at the stakes. I mean not really, I hope maybe I'll be able to tell them one day. I just don't want them to look at me differently.. My best friend Kayleigh is gay and my parents accept her with open arms. That's different, she isn't their kid. I know I'm being a bit dramatic. Okay a lot dramatic, but I've always had a fascination with the Uk.. Well Europe in General.

The architecture, the history, the landmarks.. that's why I'm going to Europe a month before I start school so I can travel a little bit ... The best part is Kayleigh is coming with me.

She's literally the only person who knows I'm gay. It's actually really funny how we told each other. We were about 14 when it happened. Hiding in the tree house between our yards. We were talking and at the same time we both said, "I have to tell you something." So we decided to say it on three and when we got to three she said "I'm a lesbian!" and I said "I'm gay." We both looked at each other with shock on our faces and then we started laughing uncontrollably.Since that day we have become Inseparable. Instead of staying In dorms for our uni years, we got a small two bedroom flat a few blocks from the university.

Tonight is my last night in San Fran. Kayleigh and I have a 8 am flight in the morning but tonight we say goodbye to our family's. Our parents are throwing a small party. I'm gonna miss them but it's gonna feel so great to be 100% me all the time.

As we're sitting on the plane Kay looks at me with a strange look " What's up Kay you good?"

"I just can't believe it Noah just last year we were waiting tables at a shitty ass diner to save some extra cash for College.. now look at us. Two best friends on their way to travel Europe before we start uni in 6 weeks. We have a place to live and we already got jobs lined up to help with some extra money."

" I know what you mean Kay... plus we can finally be yourself, no more bullies, just you and me. Fuck everyone else's opinion. We're still missing one thing for yourself ! '' Kay responds "What would that be Noah?"

"Some sexy as Europeans to show up around!!" "Noah your so fucking stupid " after that we couldn't stop laughing and making stupid jokes. One more hour and we will finally land in the one place I've always wanted to go. Welcome to Paris!
