Starlight

                                                                       Bella's POV 

I smiled as Edward's lips met mine. The same electric shock ,I'd felt the first time he kissed me in this new life, tingled all over my body. I continued kissing him and my fingers braided through his soft bronze hair. Then, I released him.

"I love you, Edward Anthony Masen Cullen." I whispered and kissed him softly for a short second. He smiled my favorite crooked smile and I swear I felt my dead heart beat.

"I love you too, my sweet Bella." He whispered back as he kissed my forehead.

"Can this hunting trip be over? I'm itching to get back to Nessie." I pleaded. I hadn't seen my beloved daughter for what seemed like an eternity. She was exactly 1 year and 3 months old, though she looked like a 7 year old.That also meant that my "birthday" was 3 days after hers. And Edward's gift to me was a trip to Isle Esme for a week. It was a beautiful, the best gift he could have given me.

"Okay, we can go I'm not thirsty anymore." Edward said as he slid his fingers through mine but, then surprising me by scooping me up in his arms and running at full speed towards the big glass house.

When we walked up the steps I could hear the reporters talking on the CNN News. We walked through the door and Renesmee ran off of Jacob's lap and into my arms.

"Momma, Momma, Momma....." Nessie chanted as she was hugging me.

"You didn't miss us that much did you? We were only gone for a few hours." Edward said as he hugged Nessie as she jumped into his arms. 

"Really? She wouldn't shut up about you guys. 'Whens Mommy & Daddy coming home?'" Emmett said in a exaggerated accent. Renesmee turned toward him and stuck her tongue at him. We all laughed together.

I gazed at the T.V.  "There's been another killing?" I said sadly. There had been multiple killings in Seattle this month. The humans suspect it's an animal.

"Yes, but it's no vampire. Last time I checked we don't eat people." Carlisle said. Then, a picture of a women's body popped up and she had multiple chunks bitten out of her stomach.

"Oh my." Esme sobbed.

"Well, maybe it is an animal." Edward said.

"It could be but, just in case be on the lookout for any supicions." Carlisle concluded.
