Naruto stayed silent as he followed him
"That's what I thought"
Sasuke smirked as Naruto tried to ignore his face expression.
"So are you gonna tell me?"
"Hm, good question"
"Cmon Sasuke! Just t-tell me so i can leave!"
Sasuke turned his heal quickly as he watched a nervous Naruto in front of him.
"How about race? If i win, I won't give you an answer to the letter, if i lose I'll give you your answer. Sounds good?"
Narutos froze for a minute, letting his brain progress it all.
"Fine, where to?"
"Hm, the Sakura tree next to the bridge"
Naruto thought for a moment, thinking how far the run would be and how fast he can get there
"Hm, okay!"
Sasuke smirked and he lined himself up with Naruto
"Easy win! Haha" was all that ran through Naruto's head
"Ready? In the count of three, one...two..three!"
Naruto bolted past Sasuke, smiling as he was ahead of him and quickly lost sight of him. After running for a good 3 minutes he finally saw the bridge and the Sakura tree, he smiled brightly as he finally reached his destination, taking a huge breath of relief.
"Oh, i see you're finally here"
Naruto flinched as Sasuke came from the back of the tree.
"How-"
"Well seems like i won"
Naruto frowned as it finally hit him, he forgot Sasuke did track and other sports, he probably took another way to get here faster too'
"Agh! This isn't fair!"
"Hm? How so? I got here first, it was our deal" Sasuke smirked as he fidgeted with his fingers, his nervousness finally hitting him.
"Well then if you're not going to read the letter, I'm going to read it to you!"
"Dobe you-"
"Dear Sasuke
As you may know I've liked you for a long time how, and well this is my confession. I like you, no let me correct myself i love you! I love how you look! how mysterious you are! And how you always seem unbothered i hope-"
"Dobe, stop. Can't you see? She only likes the idea of me, just like everybody else"
Naruto finally crushed the letter, since he was dying to do it since he got it.
"I'm not like them! I like everything about you! To the way you smile when you read books, and how you zone out looking at birds in class, I know you're sweet on the inside even though you don't like sweets! And how your hair moves in the wind, i-"
Naruto stopped himself, covering his mouth as his face went completely red.
"Will you go out with me?"
Those words rang through Naruto's head.
"W-what!?"
"Well, the whole plan was to confess under the Sakura tree but you beat me to it" Sasuke sighed and then slightly smiled looking straight at Naruto
"So, what do you say?"
"Y-yes" Naruto said in a whisper , but unfortunately Sasuke didn't catch that
"What? I didn't he-"
"Y-yes!!"
Sasuke smiled as he got closer, kissing the lips he's been desiring for too long.
