It's Saturday, and today we are going home. And as much as I don't want to go, we have to. I finish packing my stuff and check my room one last time if I didn't forget anything. When I'm done, I head down and go put my bags in the back of Alex's car.
"Ready to go home?" Alex says as he helps me.
"Yeah."
"Okay, then. Go get in the car. We'll go."
"Wait. I want to go say bye to everyone."
"Okay. I'll wait in the car. Oh, and also go find Eva." Alex goes around the car and sits in it. I kind of lied to Alex. I said everyone when I originally meant Brad. I go inside the house and go to Brad's room. Thankfully, he's still there. I go up to him and hug him tightly.
"Oh, whoa. Is everything okay?" Brad says, feeling shocked.
"Yeah," I whisper. We stand there for a little bit. "I'm sorry."
"For what?" he asks as he pulls away.
"For kind of getting on your nerves."
"Hey, you didn't get on my nerves. You never do." He cups my face and kisses my forehead. "So, no need to be sorry."
"Okay. I came to say that we're going to go home now, and I came to say bye."
"Oh."
"So, I guess bye," I smile at him.
"See ya."
Our ride home was the same as the ride to the villa. But maybe even funnier since now Eva and Alex knew each other better. We dropped off Eva at her house and then drove to mine.
"Y/N?" Alex said when we came to a stop.
"Yeah?"
"Why don't we go out on a date?" Alex turned to me. I tried to contain myself and answered,
"Um...Sure." On the inside, I was screaming.
"Okay. I'll text you the details tomorrow," Alex smiled with that beautiful smile of his.
"Okay. I guess, bye," I smiled back as I started getting out of the car.
"Bye."
I had a good sleep back at home in my bed. The next day I got a text from Alex. He texted me the details about the date: the date is going to be on Friday, and he's going to come to pick me up at 6 PM. He also said to dress up nicely. He didn't say where he is going to take me. And when I asked him, he just said that it's going to be a surprise.
Friday came, and I waited for it the whole week. I felt so nervous yet so excited. When the doorbell finally rang, I felt shivers go down my body. I quickly ran to the door and opened it. I got shocked. There Alex was. With a pretty big and beautiful bouquet.
"Hey."
"Hi," I felt butterflies in the stomach. "Come in." When he came in, he extended his arm with the bouquet and said,
"These are for you, beautiful."
Did he just call me beautiful? I felt like fainting.
"Thank you. These are so pretty," I blushed and hid my face while smelling the flowers.
We got into his car. I asked him where are we going, but he still didn't say anything. When we stopped, I looked out of the window. I saw a pretty fancy restaurant. We walked to the restaurant. The waiter showed us our table. When we sat down, I said,
"Alex, this place is too beautiful for me. Also, it's probably so expensive. I feel bad."
"Don't. I want to treat you."
"You don't have to," I said, feeling embarrassed.
"But I want to."
The waiter came, and we ordered our food. Trust me, the food was pretty expensive, and I felt horrible. We were at the restaurant for about 2 hours. Then Alex drove us to a beautiful park. We walked for a bit, and Alex suddenly stopped. He came in front of me and took my hands.
"What are you doing?" I said, feeling confused. He said,
"I guess I'm doing this again," he laughed.
"What?"
"I know that we know each other for about just two months now. And it might be too soon. But I confessed to you for a reason. I didn't realize how fast I started to like you. You're so beautiful and pretty. During the trip, I realized that I want to call you mine. So...Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?"
Alex really does know how to kill me, how to make my heart race, and how to make me feel butterflies in my tummy. This feels like a movie. I can't believe it.
"Are...you...serious?" I ask, feeling shocked.
"Yes. I'm serious."
"Oh my God," I say as I cover up my mouth with a hand. The next thing I know, I kiss Alex. When I pull away, I say,
"Yes...yes," I smile so brightly and hug him.
"God. Now I'm even happier," he whispers. We kiss again.
"I'm happy also," I smile.
We walked around, but when it got a little bit cold, we decided to go home.
"Thank you for tonight. I will remember it for a long time," I say as we stand in my driveway.
"No. Thank you for everything," Alex says as his hands curl around my waist. We stand there for a minute in silence, looking into each other's eyes. Alex cups my face with his hands and gives me a soft kiss. "Goodnight, beautiful."
"Goodnight." We hug, and Alex walks to his car. Before getting in his car, he waves to me. I wave back. When I get to my room, I quickly close the door and lean against it, still feeling the butterflies in my belly. Then I jump on my bed. I start thinking about tonight. Well, I guess I have a boyfriend. I can't believe it. The moment keeps replaying in my head over and over again.
Suddenly, it hits me. The bad part of getting a new boyfriend. Brad. I'm going to have to tell him. And he definitely won't be happy. I feel like I have to prepare emotionally. Brad's overprotective side is going to come out. Although I think, it has come out. I'm scared. But he's my best friend...And he promised me that he's never going to leave me. Telling Brad is going to be the hardest part. How do I tell him?
