A man forgot the scars on his body,
They only reminded him if what he once was,
They only reminded him how broken a boy was,
A man cried to know the reason.
He stares into his reflection in a dirty mirror, asking the boy in him to help him understand why was he so broken, why he thought his pieces will forever be shattered. The boy looks down and cries, giving no answer to the question.
A man is confused about who he is,
The boy cried and the man stared at the scars,
Asking himself what he is and what he was,
The boy finally had an answer,
You're nothing but the tears I just bled.
You'll never be, you can never be what you want to be. You'll never forget, you'll never forgive what you were. We'll bleed and cry together, and that's all we'll ever be, our worst enemy.
I beg you please,
I need to know why, why we're so broken,
The kid gets up on his feet and looks straight into the man's reflection,
The mirror then shatters into a million pieces,
The boy answers, that's why.
