It had been a week since the bizarre encounter with the small trio. Although, I don't know them, I kinda miss them. Running the shop again has been great and all but that one time was so much fun. That's why I miss them. Well, especially him.

"Him" referring to Diego. The blonde British man who had wondered into the café with his small group of friends. Every time I hear the bell ring, I hope Diego walks in those doors. I know that's stupid because he's just a stranger but it looks like there's so much to know about him. And frankly, I'm curious and want to find out.

As if by fate, the bell to the door let out a jingle. Although, I know it's not Diego. I look up to greet the customer who had just walked in.
"Welcome to Honey Drops café!" I smiled until it registered in my head who I had just greeted. After all this waiting, there he is without Johnny and Gyro. But with someone else. His girlfriend with the pink hair. There she was, standing by his side, quietly chatting away.
"One blueberry muffin, a small coffee, and whatever she wants." Diego crosses his arms arms and let out a 'hmph'.
"You don't need to be an asshat about it." The pink haired girl looked over to me. "Sorry about his attitude. He's throwing a little temper tantrum like the 3-year-old he is. But I'll take the same." Diego looked over at her and clenched his jaw.

"Hot Pants, I'm 20, not some 3 year old with a booger hanging out of its nose."
"Are you sure about that?" She grabbed a tissue from her bag and handed it him. In fact, there was a small booger sticking out of his left nostril. He turned his face away and quietly blew his nose before tossing the tissue into the garbage bin.
"Okay, even if a 20-year-old man does have a booger hanging out of their nose, a measly toddler could never be a world renowned jockey!" They continued to talk as they found a table. But I couldn't help but be slightly distracted. He said he was a world renowned jockey. I can't tell if he actually is or his ego is just massive. Anyways, I'll look into that later.

Okay. So I need two blueberry muffins and two cups of coffee. The muffins were already prepared because they came a little after opening time. And the pot of coffee had plenty while still being warm. I put the items onto the tray and walked over to them. They were back to their friendly chit chat so I just tried to go unnoticed whilst placing everything down. I wasn't unnoticed per say, but more like barely acknowledged. Just a little 'thank you' from Hot Pants, if that was her name, meant that I could go attend other customers.

I checked on everyone and a few people had finished up and left. That left only about three occupied tables. One being Diego and Hotpants. I guess they were the only ones I didn't check on because I brought them their food, but it has been a little bit since then. I approached their table and stood in front of it.
"Do y'all need anything else?" Diego took his head off of his hand and looked up to me.
"No. Just waiting for Johnny and Gyro." I nodded my head in understanding. But, for whatever reason, I didn't leave their table.
"So, ummm, how long have you two been together?" Oh my god. Why did I just say that? That's none of my business. But, it's something waiters ask, right? Oh god. It would be awkward to walk away so I just kind of stood, anticipating a response.
"Me? And Hot Pants? Tch. As if I would ever get with someone like her."
"Yeah, there's no way in hell that I could ever be with Diego. Honestly surprised that were friends."
"Yeah... Wait. Hey! You know you love being my friend. It's a privilege. I'm surprised I gave you the privilege of being my friend."
"Of course. What ever you say your majesty." Diego rolled his eyes and rested his face in his hand. I just kind of left after this little dispute. Well, good news. Diego is single.

Within seconds of me walking away, Diego called out to me.
"Oi, (Y/N)!" I turned back around to their table. I had to say that I loved the way his British accent pronounced my name.
     "Yes?"
"Gyro wanted to give this to you last week but he forgot. Here." He handed over a small slip of paper. I looked at it and saw a number. Oh. "I didn't think Gyro would find you his type. But I honestly wouldn't even bother with him."
"Okay... Thank you anyway!" Diego stood up from his seat and reached into his back pocket. He pulled out some cash that was more than the price of what they ordered.
"Here. Keep the change. Johnny and Gyro had a change of plans and so they won't make it here." Hot Pants stood up as well and walked out of the shop with him.

I sorted through the cash that he had gave me to see how much it actually was. It was $20 but all in five dollar bills for whatever reason. But in it, I saw a white strip of paper. Similar to the one Gyro had wanted to hand me. I looked at it. On it was also a ten digit number. And a little 'Diego' written at the bottom signed with a cute little dino. I couldn't help but chuckle at it. Well, I got two people's numbers in one day. But, I'm really glad about Diego's. It was nice to see him again. Maybe I'll see him soon.
