Chapter 17

Alex's POV
Alex was waiting outside of Eliza's hospital room,

She was getting ready for the operation, Alex was so nervous

Someone came running and Alex quickly looked to see who it was, Angelica and John stood there when John saw him he quickly hugged him and seated next to him

"You okay?" John asked as Alex nodded

Angelica just glared at him and seated on the other side of the room,

Alex sighed he knew she hated him but that much

"Peggy and Steph just arrived" Angelica said looking at John smiling, as he smiled back

"Peggy and Steph?" Alex asked John

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, their coming and it seems like they just arrived" John said smiling,

Normally Alex would be happy to hear about this but Peggy and probably Steph still hated him so he was just afraid

Suddenly other people started coming into the room, Alex looked to see who it was there stood Mr.Schuyler next to Mrs. Schuyler, Angelica quickly got to them and started saying hi, John got up and started saying hi too

Alex just looked at the ground, the cold and stupid ground that somehow was like his heart, in this past few weeks he had been used to look at that ground

Mrs.Schuyler got to him smiling as if nothing had happened, Angelica and Mr.Schuyler looked upset by this action

"Hey Alex how are you?" She said giving him a look of pity a look that Alex started being quite used to

"Fine" Alex said as Mr.Schuyler glared at him

Adrienne and another woman quickly got out of the room, everyone looked at them as The woman started talking "we-"

"Sorry we're late" Peggy said coming to the room Steph aside her, Alex saw Angelica motioning with her eyes to the woman

Peggy realized what was happening and quickly looked at the woman "sorry ma'am" she said as the woman smiled at her

"It's fine really" she said as Peggy and Steph sat on the chairs next to John

"Well we don't know if this operation will go fine, the worst problem it can cause it's death" the woman said as everyone looked shocked at them

"So it either goes well or either she dies?" Peggy asked as Adrienne nodded

"Basically but we'll try our best for it to go well" Adrienne said

"She can have visits now but one at a time" the woman said "who goes first?"

Alex wanted to say he would, but he was too scared everyone would glare at him

"I will" Angelica said lifting up from her seat and walking into the room

Everyone got into the room after a few minutes and then it was Alex's time

He got into the room as Eliza smiled at him, a weak smile

"Alex" she said as he smiled and got to her

"Yeah it's me, are you okay love?" Alex asked as Eliza smiled at him

"Yeah, Look just promise me one thing" Eliza said as Alex kissed her forehead

"Anything" Alex said as she smiled

"If I you know, promise me you'll find someone else" Eliza said

"No way, there's no one like you I'll never find someone else not like you" Alex said as Eliza smiled

"You deserve to be happy Alex either is with me or not, you're so young still, you can live you're life you don't need to have me stuck in your head forever" Eliza said as a tear got out of Alex's eye "promise me Alex"
