The crowd is cold and starving tonight—
so the dancer spins, and their hearts are stirred.
And when she leaps they're filled with light
and they share the flight of the firebird.

And as the cry of "Encore" grows—
the dancer spins, and the heavens are stirred.
And when she leaps a ruby glows
and we, share the dawn of the firebird.
