The Forgotten Princess - Knight Squad

Chapter 1

Diary entry 18,
Forgotten Princess. My mother hardly ever called me that. It was a nickname that I had developed over the years in Sahem.
You see I, Princess Flora of Sahem, am not talked about everywhere. Not many other kingdoms actually knew I existed.

Of course my birth was announced to all the kingdoms. Yet a lot of people forgot about me. Of course I've grown used got that, but I still feel let down because of it.

Any way, I'm on my way to Astoria. I'm sitting at the bottom of a tree as I write this. I can't believe Sahem was attacked, that my father died and my mother didn't come with me.

I hope Astoria will accept me. Or the royal family will know me. Otherwise I'll be a random girl appearing.
I'm not sure how long I have to hide for. Maybe until Sahem is saved from Ryker. I shall still go by the name Flora. It's who I am and I'm not changing that one bit.

Now I better get going again. I can't sit here all day and mope around. I need to get to Astoria. And one day save my kingdom from Ryker.

Flora walked along through the forest. It had been a day since she left Sahem and now she was hungry and tired. Her hair was a little scruffy and her dress had a few scratches.

Flora didn't know how much further Astoria was. She saw ahead a cart. Walking up to it the person behind waved and smiled.
Flora stared down at the cart and saw a sheet of paper. Grabbing it she read it.

Opening in Knight school,
Each squad is now getting 5 members.
Go to Astoria to join.

That's my ticket to hiding, Flora thought.

"Here you go ma'am."
Flora looked up to see the man holding up an Apple to her.
"I don't have any money on me," Flora told him politely.

"Take it though," he smiled.
Flora wondered how bad she must've looked to be offered a free Apple. Flora took the Apple, "Thank you."

She folded the paper and placed it into her diary and then she bit into the Apple and walked away.

Flora walked and walked some more. The Apple filled her a little. Though she needed water soon. Suddenly she saw ahead something beautiful.

The Astorian kingdom.

Flora walked through, ducking her head as people stared at her. Walking to the courtyard of the castle she stared in amazement.

Astoria was quite beautiful. Instead of flowers like Sahem, Astoria had crystals place around. Many people were walking around, no one was screaming in terror. The place felt so calm.

Carts were everywhere and kids were playing without fear. Then Flora realized how weird she must look. Clearing her head of those thoughts she walked around slightly.

She couldn't see any of Astoria's royal family. Something caught her eye. There was a girl in a pretty purple dress. She had a tiara on her head and wore nice shoes. She must be the princess.

The princess of Astoria was talking to a boy with dirty blonde hair, he had a green shoulder guard on.

The princess rolled her eyes at the boy, "Go away now Arc. I don't need you to tell that. I already know."

Arc just laughed, "Well Princess, his crush is escalating quickly. I think he might ask you out soon."

The princess sighed, "Just go. I don't need to hear about that anymore."

Arc laughed once more before walking off. The princess was now alone. Flora took this as a opportunity and walked up to the princess.

"Oh my!" The princess gasped, "Are you okay?" Flora looked at herself with disgust before looking at princess Angelica.

"I'm fine is suppose," Flora sighed. Princess Angelica had a sorrowful look. "I'm princess Flora of Sahem," Flora began before princess Angelica interrupted her.

"Come!" Princess Angelica beckoned Flora with a wave of her hand. The other princess walked away and Flora followed into the castle quietly.

Oof, does Warwick actually have the guts to ask out the princess? Lmao of course I know, I've watched all Knight Squad episodes, but this is my own book let me fantasise! xD
