Peeta POV

I run out of the kitchen to see Katniss lying on the ground crying. Her tears are covering her face and her scream still pierces my mind as it echoes all around my head. I check my watch. 5:37. The sun hasn't risen yet and I hear my glass come crashing down from where I left it on the edge of the bench. I ignore it and kneel beside Katniss. I lean in and tell her it's ok. "It was just a night mare" I say, calmly. But she doesn't stop shaking as she normally does. It gets worse an worse until eventually I can't stab seeing her like this. i stand and run to the kitchen where I grab the phone. I punch in the number 77889920 as fast as possible and it no time Mrs Everdeen is at our front door. I tell Katniss I will be right back. When Mrs Everdeen sees her daughter she is calm and gets straight to work. First she forces some greenish liquid down her throat an then pulled her up in to a sitting position. It is at this moment I realise Katniss is not awake. Her nightmare has not ended.

20 minutes later Katniss is sitting up against the bedside table with a glass of water in one hand and an ice pack in the other. She holds it to her head and I tell her it will be ok. 5 minutes ago i asked her what her dream was about. I am still waiting for an answer.

About 15 minutes later I get one. "It was her." She said, plainly. "She never saw that bomb coming" she sobbed into my shoulder. I knew I should do or say something to help comfort her but I just can't. I don't know how to. I realise she is talking about Prim, but I still don't know what to do. So I just hug her and as her warmth absorbs my body I know that her love for her sister was and always will be stronger than her love for me.
