Hi students! Today, I will teach you how to have a basic conversation.

First, you need some words that are commonly used in a conversation :

- Salut (hi)
- Bonjour (hello)
- Bonsoir (hello) (used when it is evening or the night)
- Parce que (because)
- Car (because)
- Pourquoi (why)
- Et (and)
- Toi (you)
- Vous (you) (polite version or for talking to more person than one)
- Moi (me)
- Je (i)
- Tu (you) (not used like "toi")
- Oui (yes)
- Non (no)
- Bof (so-so) (used when you talk with family or friends)
- Moyen (so-so) (family and friends too)
- Vraiment (really)
- Merci (thanks/thank you)

For help you, a short French conversation :

- Bonjour, ça va ? (Hello, how are you ?)

Je vais bien, et toi ? (I am fine, and you ?)

- Très bien, merci. (Very good, thanks.)

Pourquoi es-tu si heureux ? (Why are you so happy ?)

(It is the birthday of my cat today.)

It is a very basic conversation. Another one, harder :

- Salut ! Comment ça va ? (Hi ! How are you ?)

Plus que bien, et toi ? (More than good, and you ?)

- Très bien. Ton chien joue dans le jardin ? (Very good. Your dog is playing in the garden ?)

Bien sûr. Il adore jouer. (Of course. It love playing.)

- Et ton chat ? Il joue ? (And your cat ? It is playing ?)

(No, it is sleeping and it doesn't really like playing.)

- Quel est ton animal préféré ? (What is your favorite animal ?)

Le cheval, et toi ? (The horse, and you ?)

- Le guépard, il court si vite ! (The cheetah, it runs so fast !)

Do you get it ? Last conversation and not the easiest :

- Bonsoir, alors aujourd'hui, tout va bien ? (Hello, so today, all is okay ?)

(Of course, and for you, all is okay ?)

- Tout va bien. (All is okay.)

(My mum is very nice, she absolutely want to meet you.)

- Je veux la rencontrer aussi. (I want to meet her too.)

(You still play the werewolf game with your friends monday ?)

- Ouais. (Yeah.)

I hope it will help you. Don't hesitate to ask me questions, don't be shy, i am not gonna eat you! ^^

FRENCH WORDS TIME! :D

- D'accord.

A word that has different meanings. It can be "ok" like in this :

"Tu dors avec ton ami ce soir. (You sleep with your friend tonight.)

- D'accord. (Ok)"

But it can be "agreed" but be REALLY careful with it! It can be easily confusing. But when it is said like "agreed", so we say it "je suis d'accord".

- Désolé.

This word is commonly used too. It means "sorry". But it is a little bit familiar, so, be careful ! There is a polite version : "pardon".

Have a nice day students <3 ^^ See you soon, in the next lesson!
