The Death That Wasn't True

"Kass, don't you think your over reacting?" Carlos asked and I gave him a stare down so hard his gaze fell again

"Oh, Kassy. Poor, poor Kassy. Such distrustment with your bestfriend and boyfriend! You know with me, trust is at the top of the list. I tell you everything you wish to know." Vlad walked closer to me as he spoke. So close I felt him breathing, but what he said seemed so true.

"Trust him, Kassy. Vlad helped me better understand my abilities. Faster then Jacob, even." Vixen said and I looked at him.

"Is this true as well?" I asked

"Yes, but..."

"What a surprise!"

"Kassy, join me and your abilities can be unlocked faster then Carlos could unlock them."

"Kassy, no!" Jacob jumped up at Vlad but Vlad used a spell and sent both Jacob and Carlos flying. Then they were glued down to the wall of the train.

"NO!" I started to run towards them but Vixen grabbed me and pulled me down. She held me in place but I couldn't help to struggle.

"Let me go!"

"Kassy, your coming with me either way. So I suggested you come willingly!" Vlad said

"Ha, that's funny. Know any knock-knock jokes?" I said and Vlad laughed

"Oh your going to be quite the joy." He looked at Vixen "Paralix spell then transportation! I have to train her soon or times up."

"Yes master." Vixen said and her finger began to glow a blue color she began to lower it towards my head!

"No, don't do it Vixen!" Jacob yelled

Vixen smiled then placed her finger on my head. My body hit a large flash of heat and then it turned violently cold. That's when all the sensation left and I couldn't move. Slowly, my mind began to darken , I tried to fight the urge to sleep but it was so strong.

"What's happening? Why am I so tired?" I asked

"I also casted a natrius spell." She said

"A, *yawn* what?"

"A natrius. It puts one to sleep." Vlad answered. And that was it. I blacked out.

A ton of cold snow was all over my face when I opened my eyes. I was moving but my legs weren't touching the ground. That's when I looked up to see Jacob carrying me away from the train with Carlos right behind him.

"How long until that train hits the bridge?" Jacob asked Carlos

"About 15 minutes and counting." Carlos resonded

"As soon as it hits the boic spell will ignite. That's what Vlad gets for casting a spell before exiting!" Him and Carlos laughed.

"What's so funny?" I said quietly

"Kassy, your awake. That spell should have put you out for hours!" Jacob said

"Her healing abilities are growing stronger. She's going to need training soon or she can become uncontrolable" Carlos said

Jacob turned from Carlos to look down at me. I felt weak, but I was getting stronger every minute. That's when I realized what Jacob had said, "As soon as it hits the boic spell will ignite!"

"Jacob, what's the boic spell?" I asked softly

"A boic spell is a bomb spell that cancels out magic. Vlad cast it expecting to leave with you but then got trapped inside the train. Now he's going to die because of his spell." Jacob said and I was shocked

"Jacob, you can't let Vlad die. He may be bad but he shouldn't be killed. We have to go back and save him and Vixen." I said

"Kassy, we tried that. The spell grows stronger every time it gets to the bridge. It's created a magic border around the train keeping everything inside and not letting anything in. We were lucky to get out with you. Vixen and Vlad are stuck inside and doomed to death. I'm sorry Kassy." Jacob said

"No, we have to..." I tried to get up but pain hit me, "Why does this hurt so much?"

"Because after you knocked out Vlad tried to take you, but I would let him. I broke the glue holding us and ran for you. Vlad threw you up in the air and pushed me back, catching you and then turning to leave. I thought I might lose you until Vlad got pushed back by a force. It was the boic spell. VLad immediatly dropped you and tried to pry his way out. I ran over to pick you up and saw the your wrist was was bleeding along with your back. The floor had broken metal and you fell on it. I tried to remove the pieces in your flesh but Carlos said to leave it. And before I could ask why, the metal shards fell from your skin and the blood stopped. Your wounds closed and I touched your wrist where you were hurt. A small grunt came from you, and Carlos said your muscles would take longer to heal then your skin. So, your going to feel some pain for a while." Jacob explained and I stared into his big beautiful eyes. I didn't want to leave them, I felt so safe.

"Jacob, the train is nearing the bridge." Carlos said and Jacob spun around. I saw the train was starting tp glow a bright purple the closer it got to the bridge. I kept my eyes on it but there was a part of me that wanted to help, even though there was nothing I could do.

The train was inches away from the bridge, then everything seemed to go in slow motion. The train hit the bridge and blew up. Metal flew through the air and fire ignited all around. I watch helplessy, and in pain, as Vlad and Vixen began to burn inside. Truthfully, I couldn't actually see them. But I never say them exit and that means that they were trapped inside a firey tomb!

At least that was what I was lead to believe. It's been a year and this is what happened!

The day after the explosion, Vixen appeared. She had cast a protection on herself before the boic spell was casted. However, Vlad burned with train. She's been following Jacob and I around so she can use our abilites to bringVlad back. My healing and Jacob's magic. But I will never help Vixen no matter what! Well, that's what I said before things got out of hand!

Hey extradinare readers! So this chapter basically brings us back to the beginning. When we started, Kassy, Jacob, Carlos, and Lindia were at the diner discussing Vladmar's return and now you understand what was going on.
