The End

Hmm, where to begin. My name is Adeline Jackson but just call me Ade.

I am here to tell you about the end of the world. The End, happened about 10 years ago. It is what us Humans call nuclear annihilation. Two major nations were about to call war on each other. The United Nation and Gavea, were the two nations. They were back and forth calling war on each other over a stupid oil deal. Then BOOM! Out of nowhere a third nation had attacked the United Nation. An airstrike had hit the City of Davis. The biggest city in all of The United Nation. It had gone undetected by the City and Country. So no one knew who did it. And still to this day no one knows.

But it killed all of the people in that City. And all the surroundings cities within a 400 mile radius. Then two more attacks a few hours later on two more major cities.

My mother had told me to get in the bunker my father made. I had went to wait for them there. Next thing I knew is I heard the loudest blast. I was only 6 years old when this was all happening. My father managed to latch the door from the outside. I was so scared and terrified. I could hear the blood curdling screams from above. I sobbed for that whole night. And eventually fell asleep.

I waited in that bunker for days, but soon days turned to weeks and then turned to months, finally turned to years. I was in that bunker for 7 years and on my last two cans of beans. Then someone unlatched the door above me and I was scared so I hid in the corner. A woman came down, she had long black hair and green eyes.

"Come with me. It's okay you are safe now. My name is Leslie." She said calmly.

And from that point on I knew I was going to be okay. My mother was gone but I found a new one.
