"there's someone here to meet you."
two kids my age walked up the stairs. wearing all black and fedoras. "i'm Sammy" "i'm Lyra" the looked at my with yellow eyes. i recognized them anywhere. i got up and shook they're hands.i looked at the boy. i blushed hard and looked away. they looked Identical to each other. like me and mable are."you feeling better dipper?" "kind of" "you can come down stairs when your ready" Lyra went downstairs leaving me and Sammy alone. "you can call me Sam for short mate" i just realized that he had a Australian accent . "o-okay" "oi have you ever been bitten by a snake before?" "yes why?" he rolled his sleeve up to show a nasty snake bite "o-oh my god...that looks-" "nasty? oi know" "it was poisonous i went to the hospital- turns out oi was allergic to snakes." "oh no" "it's alright though" "yeah i guess" I awkwardly looked around the room and then he cupped my cheek "um what are you doing-" and without warning he open mouthed smashed his soft lips against mine.
