Alright let's go. I made it! High school is over and college has begun. New York University. I park my car in the parking lot and head towards my resident hall. Apparently my roommate is supposed to be cool but I don't know. I'm not a people person, more of an animal person. They don't talk back. Well anyways I walk into my building and take the elevator to the second floor where my dorm was. It was 203. I open it up and walk in. My suppose roommate was sitting on the bed.
"Uh hi I'm Y/N L/N." I say while throwing my book bag onto what I hoped was my bed. She stood up and shook my hand.
"April O' Neil." She says it with a smile. I comb through my hair with my hand.
"Well this is a nice dorm." I say trying to be less awkward.
"I can't believe we got a good one!" She said very excited.
"Well so far your my first friend haha.." I chuckle awkwardly. She giggles.
"I got four friends here. One is majoring in Criminal Justice. One is majoring in Science and Technology. Another is majoring in Education. He used to think professional skateboarding is a major. And the last one is majoring in business. And I'm in Psychology. (Haha get it. Cause she can control stuff with her mind, ha. Anyways)." She smiles.
"Well I'm going for (wanted career) but right now I'm taking mostly science classes." I said while hopping into the bed, not to soft; not gonna lie.
"Ahhh you might get along with Donnie than." She says down too.
"Science dude?" I asked while sitting up.
"Yea. They're all brothers so it's understandable if you get confused." She chuckles.
"Anything else I need to know about them?" I laugh out, ugh I sound like a dying donkey.
"They practice ninjitsu outside of the class. They live under- off campus." She says with a nervous smile.
"That's cool." I say lazily. April's phone buzzes.
"Oh that's them. I gotta go. See ya later! Classes start in two days!" She grabs her yellow book bag and runs off. I get up and lock the door while looking at the dull room. So far the only decorating that is happening is April has a yellow comforter on her bed. I have some stuff down in the car. I look at my side of the room.
"Wow this is lame." I put my bag under the bed and rush down to my car to get my things. This is gonna be fun. I kinda wanna meet this Donnie. Oh my god but if he's a jock I'm soooooo not pushing for that. Am I talking to myself? No wait I'm thinking to myself! I need friends...
"Yea ya do." I say out loud while walking out the building. I'm so lonely.
