PEETA'S POV
Out of nowhere I hear Katniss say she is going on a walk with Rye and that she left before I could answer. I begin to clean the dishes that are in the sink when suddenly I hear Katniss scream! I dash outside and see the door to Haymitch's house is open and charge my way over there when I see Haymitch all beat up and Katniss on the floor panicking! " KATNISS WHAT HAPPENED" I say confused while trying to figure out what happened?! " I DONT KNOW!!" She cried " Im gonna go upstairs maybe there is something" she announced, "Ok!" I replied. I turn to Haymitch and he looks worse and worse his left eye looks shiny and purple and blue! And theres blood everywhere! "I wonder who did this?" I whisper. " I am going upstairs to check on Katniss and take Rye with me" I say to Haymitch's unconscious body. I walk upstairs and take a little turn and enter a room and see Katniss standing there frozen with a
White rose in her hand...
