Y/N'S P.O.V.

"Hey, did you hear? There's a new tea shop in town!" I was passing by a couple of girls who looked to be my age (much prettier than me) and happened to catch the rumour about the Jasmine Dragon, which supposedly was the name of the new tea shop that seemed to have grown famous overnight. I had some time to kill, I decided, and came to the conclusion that I should at least check it out, even if I wasn't the biggest fan of tea there was in Ba Sing Se. Maybe this visit would change my mind.

Entering the shop, I looked around with curiosity, and as I was examining the area, I saw a boy behind the counter, pouring tea from a pot and into cute miniature cups to serve to customers scattered around the tables in the shop. The boy had dark hair (shorter than mine) and on the left side of his face, I could see... A...a scar?

I cupped my mouth with my hand to quiet down my gasp, but with no luck. The boy behind the counter looked up from the cups of tea, and our eyes met.

The girl who had just made her appearance wouldn't look away from me. It was like she froze when she laid eyes on me. Did she know that me and uncle were firebenders? Worse yet, wanted traitors of the Fire Nation that were forced to live as refugees in the Earth Kingdom while doing our best to blend in as owners of a tea shop like this?

"Uh...Can I help you?" I asked, hesitating before I even thought to open my mouth. I watched as she made her way over to the counter.

"O-one cup of uh...Jasmine tea, please?" she smiled innocently, placing her order and just enough money to pay for the tea, on the counter in front of me. I decided not to pay any further attention to her stammering or her gasp of surprise and instead focus on making her the cup of tea she had asked for. Thanks to Uncle Iroh, my skills had improved since we came to this city.

While the tea was brewing, the girl kept silent, but as soon as I placed the cup in front of her, she spoke up. Her question surprised me.

"Wha-what's your name?!"

".....It's Lee..." I answered, as nonchalantly as I possibly could, trying to hide that I was lying to her. "What's yours?"

"I'm Y/N"

While pouring another customer's tea, I caught a glimpse of my nephew talking to someone near the counter of our tea shop. He wasn't talking to just anyone, he was talking to a girl! Smirking to myself, I watched in secret, curious about the girl. After watching them from a distance for a while longer, I approached the counter where Prince Zuko and the girl were standing in silence.

"Welcome to The Jasmine Dragon," I greeted entusiastically. It seemed to have really startled her. I recieved an angry glare from Zuko, but laughed it off. "Please, why don't you come sit down? There are a lot of free tables for two..." I winked at the two. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see both my nephew and the girl I still didn't known the name of, blush a light shade of red.

"We don't have time to sit down and talk right now, Uncle!" Zuko then exclaimed, "What about the other customers?" I laughed again at his outburst. "Don't worry, Prince Zu- I mean Lee..." I was quick to correct myself. "The young lady needs to rest her feet for a while. And you could need a break, yourself."
