'eyes fixed for the best future'

Pure. If I could describe myself, that word would be the first thing that comes to my mind. If anything in the world that I would never allow to happen was that my soul would be tainted. But with my family history that is almost impossible. If I would say that I was thankful to be away from parents like mine would be a little cruel. My parents weren't the darkest witch and wizards but I knew that if they had lived with me I would have not been as pure as I am now. Though other's may find it sad, I'd take this as a gift. An apology gift for unintentionally damning their daughter to feel no compassion and love for the rest of her life. A gift to their close friend Severus who had no clue his future would consist of disastrous and sleepless nights in taking care of an infant.

"Dianna! Did you lose the ability to obey after getting your acceptance letter or are you just being plain stubborn?" Speaking of my godfather, his name is Severus Snape. He's not the most compassionate person I've come across but I knew behind that he was closing himself. I would like to be hurt that he wasn't opening up to me but it wasn't like I'd be able to comfort him if he does.

"I'm sorry, Severus. Normally, it takes about five or more minutes to finish changing your clothes. I'd like you to try that instead of asking me to be quick for no reason at all." I said calmly as I got out of my room. He glares at me and I plastered a sarcastic smile. Growing up with Severus had made me adapt with his way of talking. He gives me one last look before making a sharp turn, the ends of his robes hitting my body. I huff, annoyed as I followed him outside of the castle. Since the inside of the castle had been made apparition-free by my ancestor, Severus and I had to go out of the castle or travel by floo.

"You know the rules." He says and I nod, taking his hand. I felt being sucked in but shortly landed on my feet. I groan a little but stop when I realized that everyone had just stopped to stare at us. Severus holds my hand tighter as he makes the first step, ignoring the look everyone was giving us. I compose myself, remembering everything Belle Zabini has taught me. Chin high, eyes afront, straighten your back and walk as if you're the most important person in the world.

We started shopping for necessary items I needed in school like cauldrons, robes, quills and the like. But now was the time I should be getting my wand. I was a little curious and a little anxious about which wand would choose me. I most definitely would not settle for a weak one that is. Releasing a sigh, I enter Ollivander's. I look around and frowned when I couldn't see the wandmaker. Then I jump a little when a man suddenly greets me.

"Ms. Slytherin. Ahh, it is as if it were yesterday I met your father here. Confidence as high as yours, a thirst to achieve a great wand." He says and my expression turns curious. I walk over to the counter where he stood behind.

"Did he?" I ask and he gives me a smile like he remembers a fond memory.

"He did. But now I have thought of a a wand for you. I shall return shortly." He says and I nod wordlessly. I look around for a little while when he had returned. He wordless gives me a long black box. I gave him a short glance before openinh the box to reveal a beautiful but plain wand that was roughly around a 11 inches. He gestures for me to flick it and I comply making a bowl of sweets to errupt. I gently put it back and looked at the man apologetically.

"Don't worry, Ms. Slytherin. That's the fourth time today." He says offering me a small smile. He disappears and I wait patiently. But when he returned he was empty handed, a dazed smile in his face. I frown, a little weirded out. He opens a compartment from the counter and takes out a white dusty box. Compared from the other regular boxes, this one was wider and had intricate gold designs in it. He shakily hands me the box and I look at him before opening it. I was in awe of what's in it. My hand instinctively traces it's handle which were emerald. The wand was about 12 inches and it's color was a pale one. I took it out of it's box, and I felt amazed when I felt that the handle belonged in my grip. But before I could flick it, a green light lit in the tip of the one. I look at Mr. Ollivander, amazed and confused. But when I see his scared look he my face dropped. I shrug this off and put it back in it's box,a smile appearing my face as I knew this was going to be mine.
