Personality: Judas is definitely the dark and brooding type. He's always wearing a serious expression and has a shroud of mystery about him. He's a bit intimidating and has a bit of an aggressive temper, but prefers to try and remain cool, calm, and collected. Jude is also known for his seductive and oddly charming energy. Despite his moodiness and brooding demeanor, he manages to attract plenty of attention and uses it to his advantage. Add on the fact that he's incredibly sly, crafty, and a bit shifty and you've got yourself a force to be reckoned with. Judas also has commitment issues and he's not exactly the most trustworthy person. He's a bit self-absorbed and selfish—tending to put his own interests above others. He also has the tendency to come off as arrogant and prideful. Notably, it takes a lot to get him to care about others, and most of the time he only ever cares about those he's close to. Or if it serves his best interest, of course. Judas is essentially everything you could imagine would be hiding in the night, and he's certainly his own force of nature.

Background: Four hundred some years ago, Judas was born into a family of elites. And not just any kind of elites: vampire elites. One of the most notable names of pure-blood lineage. His blood has a long line of valor, respect, and tradition tied to it. He was the middle child and this left him to be the rebel of his siblings, even if now you'd never guess he was. Having gotten into plenty of trouble over his many years, probably one of the most troubling of all was when he fell in love. Why so troubling, one might ask? Because the girl he loved was not a pure-blooded vampire—or a vampire for that matter! No, Judas found himself in love with a faerie. He was young at the time, and foolish, and it wasn't long before the both of them were caught. With the truth out, there was nothing Jude could do to save the faerie he loved and watched as his parents sent an assassin to take her life, so that she could no longer tempt their son into ruining their legacy. From that moment on, Judas' heart hardened and he changed. This is when he not only stopped caring for others, but also ran from home. He's been on his own ever since, doing as he sees fit, and guarding himself against everything and everyone.
