It was 7 in the evening and Arnav was impatiently driving to home. He had been thinking all day just about Khushi that how she is not her chirpy self now a days and just gloomy. She just does her work and talks to everyone only when they need something. He exactly knows why and so today he is going to fix it.

He reached home and saw everyone sitting in the hall and chatting as usual. He searched for that one particular smile but couldn't find her. He wasn't surprised at all. It was like this since a week and he loathed the person because of whom his wife was suffering.

But that can wait. He first needs to talk to Khushi. He was about to ignore and go to his room when a voice stopped him and today he hated that as well,

"ASR" Aarav cheerfully ran to him.

He closed his eyes to control his anger or else he'll lash out on the poor kid who isn't at fault. He patiently turned around and gave him a tight smile.

"Where are you going? Come sit with us na. See NK mamu is teaching me chess will you play with me?" He said innocently holding his hand.

"Not today Aarav, I have some work." He denied as politely as he could.

"Chhote, why are denying him? Look how sad he is now. Just play one game na." Anjali said.

"Yes, Chhote you should never break a kid's heart like this." Nani joined her, fuelling his already high temper.

"Hello hi bye bye, Sasu ma is right. You can work afterwards and see how nicely he understands the game just like you." Mami said in her usual quirky tone.

Anjali smiled at Mami "Exactly Mamiji. Sirf dikhne me nahi Aarav ka toh dimagh bhi Chhote ki tarah tez hai." Aarav smiled hearing praises whilst Sheetal had a wicked smirk on her face.

Thats it. Arnav lost it.

"ENOUGH" He shouted, his face red with anger and eyes clearly spitting fire.

There was a deadly silence in the hall. Everyone was shocked at the sudden anger but nobody dared to utter a word. Sheetal gulped in fear while Aarav hugged her tightly in fear.

"Aarav go to your room." Arnav ordered.

Aarav looked at his angry form but was too scared to budge.

"Aarav, I said GO TO YOUR ROOM." He stretched every word and Aarav ran from there to his room.

"Chhote..." Anjali tried to speak but Arnav held up his hand on her and she stopped.

"Enough of this nonsense that 'Aarav looks like you, oh he eats like you, ohhh your son would be exactly like him Chhote.' Enough. Do you all remember that there is one more member in your family? Yes my wife. Do you have any idea how she must be feeling hearing all this? Or this Sheetal, who by the wayis just a guest here, has become more important that the daughter-in-law of this house? Unbelievable." He lashed out at each and everyone and they just hung their heads low.

After a deep sigh he continued "I know I am no saint either I should have stopped this long back, but you know what better late than never. Sheetal.."

Sheetal looked at him dead scared. She knew it's over but she was just praying that this beast of a man doesn't ruin her life.

"Pack your bags and leave. I'll talk to Aman he'll arrange an apartment for you. You have 2 hours to pack. I don't want to hear anything. Just leave my house and life." He looked straight in her eyes conveying the unsaid.

She understood and thought it was better to leave than arguing which can lead to her own loss. So she quickly ran to her room to pack her things.

"Chhote, we.."
