Luna has always craved to feel.

Every second of every day, she attempted to delve deep into herself and find a strong, solid feeling. A feeling of pain, sadness, happiness.

She didn't care what the feeling was, she wanted to feel. She needed to feel.

Sometimes, though she regrets it, she hopes for a great tragedy. A tragedy that will make her feel deep sadness, love, hate. She craves the difference of day.

Growing up, and still now, she has always been told that she is incredibly lucky. Incredibly lucky to have two stable parents, very much in love, a home, an education, and just enough money.

But when you spend every day in a bubble of dull, you get bored. You want to see what will happen when the bubble finally pops.

You get curious.

And that is why, she tells herself, I'm here.

She never expected to end up in a strange, unfamiliar underground party, yet when did she ever expect herself to end up anywhere strange?

And unrecognisable song thumps through speakers that she is yet to see. The heat of the large, dimly lit room is so strong Luna has already noticed a light sheen of sweat all over her body.

She does not belong here, but she isn't noticed.

Tangles of bodies are thickly littered everywhere, and it takes her a minute to find the bar in the far corner of the room.

Luna decides to order tequila, since she has only tried beer before.

The strong substance stings her throat. The warm feeling in her chest grows, and she is happy, because she is feeling something strange and new. She has decided she likes strange and new, so she takes another confident sip from the plastic red cup.

LUNA'S POINT OF VIEW.

"You're new."

My eyes click to the voice. A girl with dark blue hair smiles loosely back at me, body language screaming that she knows where she is.

"How would you know?" I ask, intimidated by her confident posture.

She merely laughs, her smile obstructing most of her face. I decide that she's nice.

"I know everyone that comes in 'n outta here, maybe not by name, but I've been here long enough to notice that this is in fact, your first time here." she says, still smiling.

I smile back. "Is it obvious?"

If even possible, her grin grows wider. "Yup," she sticks her ring-covered hand out, "I'm Casey."

I take it. It's sweaty, but not gross sweaty. I'm probably the same. There's no windows here.

"Luna, but please god call me Lu, because that name makes me sound like a lesbian My Little Pony horse."

"It's actually a pretty cool name, but now that I think about it, it kinda does sound like a pony name. Sure, I'll call you Lu. But I have a friend that goes by that too, so don't expect me to call you both that at the same time."

This girl talks fast.

"Who else do you know with the nickname Lu?" I ask, not that surprised. From what Casey has told me, she knows a whole lotta people.

"Ah, it doesn't matter right now, I absolutely need you to meet the guys, newbie. Come with me."

I don't have any time to argue, or ask who the guys are, because the blue-haired girl has already grabbed me by the arm and started pulling me even deeper into the crowd.
