Chapter thirty-one- Marry me?

(Willow on the side)(archer and willow are twins)

I had returned home after the doctor visit and it was now 6oclock. River would be home by 8 and would put Hunter to bed, Hunter loved River putting him to bed.
I was in the kitchen making Hunter some milk as he was still crying and wouldn't stop he wanted daddy and daddy was working, at the moment he was laid on the sofa with the blanket Kyle had gotten him when he was a baby, he had never let that blanket go and if he didn't have it when he went to bed lets just say he wouldn't go.

I walked back into the lounge room to see Hunter crying on the sofa, I felt so sorry for him and didn't know what to do. I walked over and sat next to him.

"Here you go baby, want some milk"

He picked the bottle up and screamed, chucked that across the floor and started crying even louder.

"I wan dada dada"

I dialled rivers phone number and waited for it to call, he picked up on the first ring.

"Baby what's wrong"

I was crying myself now because I was just getting so stressed.

"I can't handle it anymore, he won't stop crying he wants you and he's chucking everything on the floor"

"I'll come home now okay Ava"

"Okay I'll see you in a minute"

5 minutes later River walked through the door, I'm guessing he ran in his wolf form then.
He walked into the lounge room and straight over to us.
He took the bottle from my hand and picked Hunter up. Hunter soon started hugging into his chest, River put the bottle into Hunters mouth and he started drinking, 10 minutes later Hunter was snoring lightly in River chest.

"Are you okay now?"

"Yeah I'm okay, how was work?"

"It was okay, are you alright Ava because i don't just think Hunter was the only thing making you cry. He's been ill before and wanted me but you never cried this much?"

"Yes, or no.. We need to talk River"

"Let me put Hunter to bed and we will talk"

"Okay, I'll just be here"

2 minutes later River came down and sat next to me.

"What's wrong baby?"

"River, do you want children with me?"

"Of course, have we not been trying for like the last two years?"

"Yeah but how would you feel if we had twins"

"I wouldn't.. Wait are you?"

"Pregnant? Yes I am and also with twins"

"Oh my god! I'm so excited. I'm going to be a dad again. I knew this wasn't anything wrong with me. And obviously it works good I've made two babies"

I couldn't stop laughing but then suddenly i stopped because down on one knee was River and he pulled out a ring, it was beautiful.

"Marry me Ava?"

"What?" I'm was super shocked.

"Marry me? Become my wife"

"River are you sure?"

"I've never been surer, please Ava. Marry me"

"YES"

I was now so excited, pregnant with twins and engaged. My life was great. I had a beautiful, loving mate, a growing 2 year old child, two more on the way and now she was engaged. Life was great.
