Hour Six

The air was cold, but not in the way that makes shivering become unpleasant.

Justin chose to bring me to a place an hour drive away from the city - a cafe up in the mountains. We sat closest to the view.

"So, anong gusto mong tanghalian?" He asked, eyes locked in on mine. Some fog escaped from his lips as he spoke.

"Tanghalian? Pasado alas cinco na, Justin," I chuckled a little to try to lighten the mood.

A gentle smile tugged on his lips, and he removed his cap and placed it back on almost immediately. He smiled shyly and took a moment before he replied.

He slid his fingers to remove the stray hairs away from my face and tucked them behind my ear.

"Ayoko naman magutom ka... mamahalin mo pa ako, eh," and with that, a full grin formed across his face.
