·Mollies pov·

"Uh, s-so, uh, we did the p-project on Volcanos... And h-how they erupt and s-stuff..." Jill stutters out. Max sighs softly.

"Volcanoes erupt when the magma inside the mountain, heats up, and gets pushed out, causing eruptions to happen..." He stares out at the back of the classroom.

I frown, and glance back. Nothing seems to be there. His eyes flicker. Normal then gold, but only for a split second. They return back to normal. Is the whatever-it-is thing that's possessing him taking control? He shakes his head and frowned.

He knows somethings off. Finally, even though this could be extremely dangerous at least somthing should happen. Its only been a few days but it's so boring. I can't stand school and having Jill pretty much hate me, I've made absolutely no progress with my mission. Max hesitantly returns his head back to the presentation.

"Yeah, so when the magma comes out of the volcano, it shoots out everywhere, and sparks fly and fire and lava cover everything..." He stares off again. Jill looks over at him, confused, yet concerned.

I stay on the edge of my sit, now both nervous and excited. My hand creeps toward my dagger hidden in my hoodie. No one else is paying any attention and notice nothing. Our teacher doesn't either. One of his eyes twitches. I sigh quietly and purse my lips begging for somthing to happen, I can't stand sitting here any longer

Max's eyes turn gold, and he grabs Jill by the arm, and she yelps. I don't blame her, he's now a monster. Plus, her arm is bleeding where he holds her tightly, so, I guess something happened. Releasing the breath I'd unknowingly held, I sprang out,of my seat knife in hand, with adrenaline rushing through my veins.

Seeing me, he bolted to the door, and I was hot on his heels, leaving our shocked class behind. I lunged at him, with an attempt to stab him. He spun and threw Jill in front like a shield. I planted my foot down and tried to stop, but my momentum kept me going towards them.

We crashed into a pile, but at least I didn't stab her. Being on top, I quickly got to my feet and pulled him up. He'd lost his grip on Jill's arm, she stumbled away a few steps holding it, trying to stop the bleeding. Max's eyes were blank, like he was in shock. They weren't normal, but they weren't gold.
