One Last Chance (Sequel To Close Your Eyes)

Chapter 10

I super speed to the location where Mr. Davenport is feeling my material pack banging against my back.

When I get there I start searching the building. No security guards for some reason.

I then find Mr. Davenport.

"Bree!" He exclaims as he sees me.

"Let me get you out of here." I say.

I grab the key and start walking towards him in his locked up cage.

"Hold it right there and put your hands up!" A firm voice shouts.

I try to make up move but the man kicks me on the ground.

"It's his daughter." A female voice says.

I say a man with black hair and a lady with blond hair and blue eyes in front of me.

"What are you doing here?" The man asks.

"What do you think stupid?" I roll my eyes.

They really don't look like any harm.

"Get her up and put her in the chains. She needs answers." The man says.

"But-" he cuts the women off.

"Do what I say now!" He screams at her.

She sighs and pulls out a needle.

"Wait what are you-?" I get cut off as she sticks the needle in my neck.

Then I see blackness.

I open my eyes to see a bunch off people

I suddenly regain my strength.

"Let me go!" I scream noticing the chains in my wrists.

"Hello, I'm Agent Stoner and my assistant is Agent Fox." The man's firm voice says again.

"What do you want from me?" I ask as soon as I see him.

"Oh, we don't what anything from you. We're the ones telling the information." He says.

"Talk." Is all I say.

"We made a deal to the police to as soon as they catch the bionic team they give you guys to us. We never needed Adam because he would be too strong for all of us. Instead, we had your minds tricked with our machines so you didn't tell Adam anything. You guys fought back hard but it worked. The deal was that once the police gave you and Chase to us we would give them five million dollars. The deal is now completed. But there is information you still need to know." He says.

"How did you get us to be on your machines?" I ask.

He chuckles for a second.

"Bree, we made you. Mr. Davenport adopted all of you." The man says.

I freak out for quite a while until I calm myself and get in with it.

"What's the information?" I ask.

"There's really only one thing you don't know yet. Chase and you have found out the rest." Agent Stoner responds.

"What do we not know yet?"

"This is all an experiment."
