Richies POV:

I brung all of my money just to buy Eddie a new inhaler, because I know how important it is for him.  I was going to text him but now my phones dead and I'm kinda lost.. idk where to go..  I guess I was mad at first, but how would eddie known that it was me? I'm just mad at mike.

I wanna go back to Eddies house.. I don't wanna be in the streets..I've asked everyone for a charger but they have an iPhone.. I have an Android. Wait.. I think I see.. STANLEY!
"Stanley!"

"Richie? Where were you.."

"What do you mean?"

"Eddie has been worried about you, he sent our friend group to look for you.. except mike."

"Huh? Why? What happened between them? And why does Eddie want me back? I'm confused.."

"He wants to talk to you, he's mad at mike but we aren't really sure why, do you know what happened?"

"Well, after school he invited mike over to talk about his issues.. mike told him he loved him and they kissed. Mike told Eddie that he saved him from his heart attack..They obviously love each-other, why would they be mad?"

"Eddie called mike a liar and shit.." Stanley explained

I saw Stanley reach his pocket and called Eddie to come here, I was about to run away and just give the inhaler to Stanley to give to eds, but Stanley grabbed my arm so I couldn't escape

"Eddie needs to talk to you, Richie. Please don't go.."

I was scared, but oh fucking well. A few minutes later I saw Eddie run towards me, and so were the rest of his friends.

"What do you want, Eddie? And.. uh, Eddies friends"

"What the hell were you thinking? You've couldn't gotten sick! It's freezing out here!"

"I got your inhaler, can we talk whenever we get back to your house? I'm kinda h-"

Eddie hugged me. Eddie was really warm, he has a huge jacket on even though it was only 50 degrees. His hug made me feel safe.

"I'm glad you're alright, Richie" that made me smile. Who knows why, but it made me feel like I had butterflies in my stomach. Unless I'm just hungry

"I t-totally s-ship th-them" bill whispered to Stanley. I just pretended I didn't hear that. I wondered why bill always stutters like that.

"Let's go home," Eddie said

"Tf are we supposed to do,eddie?" Ben asked

"Y'all can walk :)"

The group rolled there eyes and left

At Eddies house

"Richie.. I'm sorry for everything"

"Eddie, it's ok, I understand, I-"

"No! I'm sorry, Richie. I'm sorry I believed mike for saving me from that heart attack, I'm sorry I yelled at you, it's not your f-fault that I'm a mess. It's not your fault I'm a freak or that nobody ever really loved me, it's not your fault I have all of these sicknesses for asthma, b-but I blamed it on you! I'm so sorry,Richie!"

Eddie started sobbing and it broke my heart

"Eddie, everybody makes mistakes, stop blaming yourself, your not a freak. Why do you care about me, Eddie? I thought you hated me,"

"Because y-you're my friend" I hugged him, I have a new friend, I realized. A true friend

"I need to tell you something, Eddie

"What?"

"Your sicknesses.. they aren't real. They're bullshit. Your mom, she's making you take these pills for no reason."

"How do you know, Richie? Are you my doctor? Huh!?" It's time to tell him the awful truth..

"My dad is though.."

"I thought your dad was an impression person thing.."

"He is. People pay him to fake stuff or jobs, like teachers, bankers, or.. doctors. He tells me how your mom pays him every month just to say you have a new sickness, just to give you pills. Our family tries to do everything just so we can have money to live on. That's why I started baby sitting. I'm really sorry, eds"

"It's not your fault, and don't call me eds" Eddie smiles. I leaned in to hug him

I realized I'm starving.

"Eds, can I order pizza tonight? I'll pay."

"No, I'll pay" Eddie winked. We ate our pizza happily.
