Chapter Twelve

Yoongi's P.O.V

I couldn't help the smirk that made it's way up to my lips. Everything is going as planned and I'm filled with energy right now. This might go down as the worst way to find out that someone betrayed you and Jisoo is the main character.

"This is scaring me" Jimin mumbled and I could see that everyone around me feels just the same

"It's gonna be okay, right hyung?" Jungkook almost chocked as Jin-hyung comfort him

Sajang-nim nodded towards Manager-nim who got the TV running. I can hear Taehyung's worried sigh but I only smirked. There's nothing he could do now. He should've stopped after it happened once, but he didn't and it's all his fault.

"We are about to show you the couples list revealed by Dispatch an hour ago" Manager-nim started and half of the people inside the room gasped

"What?"

"No way"

"T-This is going to ruin everything"

Those were the words that a lot of them whispered. I could see Jungkook tear up because of worry.

"We took the liberty of getting you guy's part of the list " he continued and looked at everyone to see their reaction

"First of all" Sajang-nim took everyone's attention while clapping his hands

"Keep an open mind everyone. None of you will get in trouble with your respective companies. Our only worry here is your fans" he said and even more murmurs are being exchanged

Manager-nim glaced over to me and I nodded to him. I know that a lot of our fans are gonna hate us but some of them might understand, I hope.

"First off, Jung Hoseok with a non-famous girlfriend. No name was mentioned but there was a picture" Manager-nim showed us the picture and Hobi could only look down

"Is this true?" he asked and I saw Hobi nod slowly

Sajang-nim nodded in understanding and motioned for Manager-nim to continue. I took a deep breath to hopefully calm my breathing. It's gonna be okay, it's gonna be fine.

"Park Jimin and Park Chaeyoung also known as Rośe, is it true?" Manager-nim asked again sharply

I could see the firm nod Jimin sent Manager-nim. Wow, he's not afraid to get in trouble for his relationship huh? That's a trait Taehyung should learn.

"Jeon Jungkook and Lalisa Manoban, is it true?" he questioned yet again and I straightened my back to get ready for the big show

"Yes" Jungkook replied timidly which made me raise a brow. Is that doubt I see?

The pictures on the TV then changed. I could hear the others gasp. It was a picture of Taehyung and Jennie walking out of a club and into a cab. Another one was outside a motel the day after.

"Kim Taehyung and Kim Jennie, is it real?" Sajang-nim was the one that asked it, just as I instructed

"No!" Tae shouted in horror which almost made me snicker

"There's proof of these claims Taehyung. Just tell the the truth now" Sajang-nim rolled his eyes and I could see Tae's pleading eyes to our manager

I also glared at our manager who looked small under both our gazes. Sajang-nim also looked at him and he shook his head negative. I saw how Tae's shoulders fell with his face.

"They are a couple" Jin-hyung suddenly stated that even I was taken aback

D*mn, what the hell Jin-hyung? He wasn't part of our plan and he knows the truth, so why?

"Hyung what the hell?" Taehyung yelled towards him but he didn't look worried or tensed at all

"There's pictures Tae, just admit it already" he grumbled like a robot and I chuckled

Tae turned his eyes towards me and I could see the hatred in them. He suddenly took my collar and started shaking me.

"What did you do? This is all your doing isn't it?" he angrily asked me but I didn't say a word to him

I'm not gonna ruin the surprise now, not when it's the best part. So I just smirked and glaced at Manager-nim. He changed the photos on the TV and Tae let go of me in shock. It was a photo of me and Jisoo, in that coffee shop from a week ago.

"Min Yoongi and Kim Jisoo, is it official?" he asked, a little differently from the other ones

I stared straight at Taehyung's eyes and smirked.

"Yes"

Jisoo's P.O.V

I dropped the bowl of soup as I heard the news. Everyone turned away from the TV as tears threatened to fall from my eyes.

"Unnie" Rośe called as the blaring sound of the news echoed in my ears

"The newly confirmed couple from both companies are Kim Taehyung of BTS and Kim Jennie of BlackPink. The two were seen leaving a club and motel together a week before" those words pounded through my head like a hammer

Was that the reason why Jennie came back after the sun is already up and Taehyung didn't answer my calls? Was this the reason Lisa and Rośe hates her? Is everything between me and Taehyung a lie?

"Unnie, let me-" Jennie tried to come near me but Lisa pushed her away

"Don't come near her. She doesn't need your explanation, she doesnt need you" she yelled in a furious state

"Unnie, let's get you to your room" Rośe softly offered but I was already bolting out the door before she finished

I continued to ran with nowhere to go. When I was sure that I was far away fron the dorm I slowed down. I entered a park just near our dorm. I sat down on the swing and watch as the sky slowly cry with me. Once everything was dark and covered with water I also let go of my tears.

"Why? Why did the two people that I love and care about so much betray me like this?" I mumbled to myself while harshly beating my chest

I did everything, I became an idol for them so we can be together. I help them with everything that they need because they said that's what friends do. I took care of them when they're sick because they said I have the touch of a mother. I'm always there for them because they say it's cold and scared them. I never cried because they said it hurts them to see me cry. I did everything for them.

Then I realized as I looked far away through the rain that I'm alone, I've always been alone. I was always there for everyone but no one was there for me. I always help everyone but no one helps me. I always loved everyone but no one loved me.

"I've always been alone" I sobbed quietly before I felt a hand on my shoulder

"You never were" a voice said as I looked up to see a warm gummy smile

"Maybe try looking a little closer next time. The one next to you might be better"
