The power within

As Shadichi went up to her room, she opened the door to her brother's room and tucked him in. After she tucked in her brother, she heard a loud crash downstairs. "I'm ok!" Raiden yelled, laughing. "What in saint cartesian's hell was that?" Shadichi asked, yelling towards her mother. There was no response from Raiden for a while. "Something just dropped!" Raiden said. "Ok" Shadichi yelled back in response. During the yelling, Malachi, Shadichi's baby brother, was fast asleep. "It's not every day you hear a loud crash downstairs in the kitchen," Shadichi whispered to herself amused. "I heard that" Raiden yelled. Shadichi, shocked by the fact that her own mother can hear her whispers, teleported to her. "How can you hear me when I'm like 200 feet away from you?" Shadichi said. "It's a power you possess as well," Raiden said. Shadichi shrugged and teleported to her room. While Shadichi slept in the bed, there was a tap on her bedroom window. Shadichi looked over and saw a man that was slightly blushing with a nervous look in his eyes. "Hello?" Shadichi asked the man. He didn't reply. "You can come in, I don't mind," Shadichi said, opening her bedroom window. As the man entered her bedroom, she saw cuts, bruises, and scraps on the man's body. "What happened?" Shadichi asked with an extremely worried voice. "D-Don't worry about it," the man stuttered clearly scared of her. "Hey, it's ok, I'm not gonna hurt you, I just want to know what happened so I can heal you," Shadichi said. "I-I was attacked by a gang," the man said. Shadichi kept her rage down and proceed to heal the man. "W-What's your name?" asked the man. "Shadichi," Shadichi said with a soothing voice. "I-I'm NightsGift," NightsGift said. "That is a beautiful name," said Shadichi, smiling. "How did you know I lived here?" Shadichi asked with a curious voice. NightsGift hesitated to answer. "I lived here before you did Shadichi, but I know I can trust you in this house," NightsGift said. "NightsGift, listen, I'm a fighter, it's not every day you see me remain calm," Shadichi said. Another loud crash occurs startling NightsGift and Shadichi. "I'm ok!" Raiden said laughing hysterically. "Ok then..." Shadichi said both extremely confused and amused. "W-Who was t-that?" NightsGift said scared. "Oh, that was my mom, she is quite stubborn," Shadichi said with a smirk on her face. "What did you just call me you little evil she-devil?!" Raiden said. "Nothing!" Shadichi said snickering. NightsGift sighed as he went to Shadichi's bed and rested. Little did he know that Shadichi is a sly one. "You sure you want to do that?~" Shadichi said with hint hotness in her voice. NightsGift blushed and sighed. "Sorry," NightsGift said as he got off the bed. Shadichi walked over to her closet and put her armor up. NightsGift stared at Shadichi in shock on how well-toned her body was. "Hm?" Shadichi looked behind her and giggled. "I don't mind if you watch, but please don't stare," Shadichi said. After Shadichi got her armor off, she was in her belly top and ripped jeans. "W-Why are you l-like this?" NightsGift asked slightly nervous. "It's how I was raised," Shadichi answered while she got her necklace and put it on. "Let me go let my mom know that we have a guest ok?" Shadichi asked while she went to the door. "Ok," Night said as Shadichi went downstairs. "Mom," Shadichi said while she waited at the threshold of the kitchen. "Yes, my little mystic?" Raiden said. "We have a guest," Shadichi said. "Who is our guest?" Raiden asked. "Come on down Night!" Shadichi called as Night slowly walked down the stairs scared. "Oh don't be shy dear, you don't have to be afraid of my daughter and I," Raiden said with a soothing voice. Night comes down the stairs and enters the kitchen. "Want anything dear?" Raiden asked. "S-Sure," Night said. "What would you like?" Raiden asked. "Water will do," Night said. "Ok," Raiden said. Shadichi starts cooking dinner which catches Night's attention. "I didn't know you could cook," Night said amazed. Shadichi laughed" My mom here taught me," Shadichi elbows Raiden. "Ja, can't deny that," Raiden said, laughing. After Shadichi and Raiden were done cooking dinner, they set up the table. Shadichi dealt with the plates, silverware, and cups. Raiden was responsible for the food and drinks. After the table was set up, Raiden set the drinks and food out while Night and Shadichi watched tv. "Night ever thought of what I'm like when I'm angry?" Shadichi asked. "No, and I'd rather not," Night said, slightly scared. Shadichi rests her head onto Night's shoulder and smiles. Night blushes while he makes her comfortable. "Who knew you were more of a lover, not a fighter?" Night said in a teasing manner. "Shut up," Shadichi said, flustered. Night chuckled and resumed watching tv. "You really know how to get me attracted huh Night?" Shadichi said with a playful voice. "I guess I have a special touch with your type," Night said. After the movie was over, Night and Shadichi were called to the table to eat. After eating, Night and Shadichi went to the living room to play some games. Another loud crash occurs and Shadichi sighs. "I'm ok!" Raiden said. "Bruh will you stop making things fall?!" Shadichi yelled, slightly annoyed. "It's not my fault that I'm a little bit stubborn!" Raiden argued. This went on for a while. "Will you two stop yelling?!" Night yelled while Shadichi and Raiden are hushed. "I hate people yelling at each other..." Night said with a sad voice. "Sorry," Shadichi apologized and held him close, hugging him. Night rests his head upon Shadichi's chest, listening to her heart. Shadichi smiles softly and rests her head upon his. "I love you Shadichi," Night said. Surprised by this, Shadichi wrapped her tail around Night's waist keeping him close to her and she feels more protective. "I love you too Night," Shadichi whispered into Night's ear. Raiden looks at them. "You two would make a great couple," Raiden said in a playful voice. "Shut up," Shadichi and Night said, simultaneously. "I'm just speaking the truth, that's all," Raiden said. "Shadichi, what have I said about wearing your belly top and ripped jeans in the house while we have a guest?" Raiden said. "Sorry, but Night here didn't mind, isn't that right?" Shadichi said. "Y-Yea, your daughter is right ms..." Night said. "Sin, Raiden Sin," Raiden said, "Well, best for you two to go into Shadichi's room, just to hang out." As Shadichi and Night went into her bedroom, Shadichi heard crying coming from her baby brother's room. "I'll be right back NIght, you can come and meet my baby brother tomorrow," Shadichi said, walking off to see what was wrong with Malachi. Shadichi entered her baby brother's room to see that something was looming over him. "Crap" Shadichi thought as she took out whatever was threatening Malachi. Shadichi picked up Malachi and sang a lullaby to put him to sleep. The lullaby Shadichi normally sang was "Goodnight, my angel" by Billy Joel. Night heard this and he teleported into Malachi's room behind Shadichi and held her by the waist, smiling. After Malachi fell back to sleep, Shadichi put him back into his crib. "He is a cute one, isn't he Shadichi?" Night said with a soft voice, not waking Malachi. "Yea, he isn't my true biological brother though, but I always like to believe he is," Shadichi said in the same hushed voice. Night teleported both Shadichi and him back into Shadichi's bedroom. Shadichi closes the door and walks over to the bed. "Best for us to get some rest Night," Shadichi said, tired. "Yea, I've heard you have training in the morning?" Night said, wanting to clarify. "Yes, that is correct," Shadichi said. As Shadichi is about to get on the bed, she grabs Night's hand and kisses his cheek. "See you in the morning," Shadichi said.
