Delia looked out the window with a sigh. It has been nine months since her son's disappearance. In that time period she had managed to stall Professor Oak in ruining Ash's name by planting evidence. So long as Ash doesn't appear to be training his two remaining Pokemon then he will not be accused of drugging his pokemon. So far no one has heard from him.
After the first few days of him going to clear his head both he and Gary disappeared. All of Gary's pokemon were distraught. Though Professor Oak took good care of them. Although for some reason they were avoiding Ash's old Pokemon like the plague. They had both vanished without a trace as if they were kidnapped by Psychic type Pokemon.
While she did not regret what she told her son, she did wish the others would have let him down more gently. That was in the past now. She had no way to change it. She doubted the others would have listened to her anyway. Teenagers were always so emotional. Professor Oak has always been stuck in his ways too.
Another thing that had changed was how much Mr.Mime was trying to ignore her. He had been doing all of his chores but whenever she would call him just to hangout he would ignore her and find something else to do. Luckily with Bayleaf, Snivey, and Leavanny she had Pokemon to keep her company. Though she was getting worried about her Mr.Mime.
She decided that it was no use worrying all the time so she called leavanny to help her with the sewing project she had been working on. She didn't know when Ash would be home but he would need some new clothes to fit whatever new job he would choose. She hoped it was something practical like a researcher or a doctor. Ash has always been smart when given the right resources. Though not everyone seemed to believe that until he actually proves it to them. It was only his immaturity that kept him rushing into situations without thinking first.
She was just about to finish the lab coat when Tracey ran up to her. He said, "Ash and Gary are back!"
She was ecstatic. She hoped he liked his new outfits. After all she had been working very hard on them. She couldn't wait to have her son right by her side again until he was a legal adult. Delia called the others to let them know Ash was back and they were going to visit him to see what career he will choose. For the first time in a while Mr.mime was walking with her.
