Perfect Shade
You look out your window
And see tears form the clouds
You know how tough it is
To be inside around
The gray sky covers
The sunny sunshine smile
You wish the rain away
But it will take a while
There's a bird flying over you
It drops a letter
And you read it, too
I LOVE YOU
You go outside
And call her name
Even though it's dark,
You don't care about the rain
Because you two
Are a perfect shade
Of love, love, love
And a rainbow is made
You kiss
Under the colors
And you won't miss
The mark of the lovers

This poem's originally a song I made for one of my previous works. I wrote this at night, with the strong rain pounding on my windows. There, I started humming a tune. Soon, I grabbed a piece of paper and started to write the lyrics. I edited the words many times, until I got the perfect lyrics. I mixed it with the tune I made up and voila! My own original song!
I know it's kind of amateurish. Well, I wrote the lyrics when I was in, like, fifth grade or so. But, anyways, thanks for reading.
