I am, but a Human

I came down in the night ahead

In the running waters above my head

The drops cooled me like transparent snow

In fact, there is nowhere to go.

I lay here, in my soft velvet bed

Where the skies are my dreams

The black raven birds are my streams

The sights are elegant, like adorned onyxes

The scattering moonlight is my limelight

The twinkling stars are my camera flashes

The flowing mist hides me from sight

Protecting me from the smirking danger

Sometimes, it is hard to think

What are the realities and fantasies

But one thing is for sure

I am, but a human.

This was originally a project for the Reading subject at school. I made it just the night before the deadline. And I finally had the mood to write it here! :-D
