They say Zeus cast mankind apart
For being too strong as they are
So split in half, they roam the lands
Forever seeking their heart

Maybe I was born even less than a half
Broken even less than so
Still held in your arms
I find I'm so much more than whole

I cannot find the difference
No separation of souls
The jagged edges of empty space
now, perhaps, I know my role

It's here in embrace, when laid to sleep
I know no sense of "other"
Limbs entwine, and heart of mine
Alone, but with another
