This story was meant to be a quick read.
I purposefully left out a lot of details for two reasons: I wanted this to be an exercise for the imagination, for you to have fun filling in the blanks and coming up with your own world.
The second reason: I write on my tablet at night, and my writer's thesaurus (which is amazing...) and notes are on my shelf. It's dark. I'm in bed. I'm lazy. Capisce?
